  1. The only club not to publish them. Just a fucking shambles this club in every way.
  2. The idea of the Arena is to subsidise the club. The way the quality on the pitch has dwindled you could be forgiven for thinking all the shops had closed down. We've probably never had as much generated income theoretically available in the club's history but it doesn't seem to be reflected on the pitch for some reason...
  3. We're not talking about spending millions. Just enough to make us look even half interesting because the simple fact is, play this shite every week and we'll be into the hundreds and that's with a ageing crowd slowly dying off. The board seem more interested in who's moved into the Queens arena than what's going on on the pitch! I heard on the rumour mill there were a couple of local business men who would be more than willing to take on the hot seat and / or pump a bit of cash into the club,...just not whenever Hewitson is anywhere near it.
  4. If the pitch is so shit and the players cant handle it there is one very simply answer. Get them down here training on it !!
  5. I doubt a player bats a single eye lid at our location given training is in the central belt. They only have to travel a hour down the road for a home game every other week on average. How much income we generate gets pumped into the squad ?
  6. We used to get more watching us at this level than Livingston and look where they are just now! We either have a budget that can enable us to at least be half decent or we might as well drop down a division and call it a day. One thing is for sure, a year in year struggle is a means to a end. We've signed a squad of no ambition. It's no wonder fans don't want to come out and watch that shit. Still early doors but if this is a sign of things to come, time for Mr Hewitson to stand down
  7. I'd be more worried if we weren't scoring goals. Defending , keeping it tight at the back can be fixed. Scoring goals is just ability something that a team either has or hasn't.
  8. Is it really going to be anything other than a hard season when we have Kidd , Oliver, Paton and Mercer in the squad? Dread to think how gash the budget must be
  9. I never liked or trusted him the first time. He's the sort of player who knocks his back out to get a deal then eases off having gained a contract. He'll get himself on the long term injury list know doubt. Hope I'm badly wrong.
  10. He signed a contract extension in January as well.
  11. Harsh on Mercer. He had absolutely no protection. Murray should have been swapped with Hamilton as he would have at least helped. Yeah, suppose it's harsh from the point of view we don't play SPL opposition week in week out but he gets found wanting pretty badly one on one when he's up against pace.
  12. I forgot we were playing SPL opposition in the first half. By the second they'd worked out Mercer was easy meat and pushed on from there. Dobbie running solo should just be a one off. Couple more players and we should easily be a strong mid table team.
  13. At least we'll have someone who can deliver a corner now
  14. He didn't do particularly well in his first season either bombing us out of cup runs early doors hence the contribution towards the 200k dept. He talked a good game and wore nice jumpers but he was distinctly average at best and just got lucky having the best striker in the division. His downfall was over managing and negative tactics off the back of defeats mainly.
  15. This newspaper article is pretty much what everyone would be thinking. Would imagine his wages wouldn't change so it would be down to if he think he fits in with a new managers plans or his ambition to play in the SPL. Wishful thinking if he stays with us I would guess.
  16. I would think Fordyce and Stirling will be gone. Potentially Mercer. Connor, Doyle and Marshall offered new deals. Would imagine Brownlie as well although think we could do better. Martin have a feeling we'll keep him.
  17. Forward line today was in a different class than a Naysmith team. We only needed half a hour to dispatch Montrose. Classic AJ getting a young lad (Connor Murray) worrying the defence. We also played two up front which made a massive difference for Dobbie. That all said we still have the same defence which ships in cross balls for fun so it has the makings of a high scoring game at both ends.
  18. I thought Connor Murray had a brilliant game. His work rate was troubling the defense which took the pressure off Dobbie and Dykes the latter of which was also immense, Dobs of course needs no introductions. Good solid team performance and the confidence after the second went in was clear to see. Raith will be a lot tougher opposition would have thought
  19. I've never seen us play better as a team than we did under AJ. John Connolly's reign a close second but he just brought us into a 21st century way of thinking like training , staying away from pies and not betting against your own team. Yes we might have been full time under AJ vs part time teams but we couldn't even beat Montrose on Tuesday with on paper a far better quality of player than then so what does that say? How many Championship and SPL teams did we also beat? It felt like we were pretty much unbeatable at the time.
  20. No one was saying sack the board when we were 4th top a few months ago. It's a tight league and Naysmith brought in some dross in the January transfer window. We should have got rid of him during the 7 game defeat run. That was where the BOD went wrong.
  21. It was definitely a Naysmith team selection. Maybe it was a parting gift choosing tonight's squad?
