  1. Nothing will change till the BOD are willing to invest in the playing squad or even better, disappear. We would should never have been relegated in the first place. It's not like they didn't have prior warnings with one relegation play off and escaping the drop thanks to COVID not to mention the constant year on year struggle. Gibson will be the fall guy but the problem is at the top.
  2. The biggest problem someone taking over isn't the running of the footballing side, It's the poison chalice which is the ground. New pitch by today's money's got to be around a million plus?, the main stand is literally hanging on by a thread. How many million would that need? Long term it's needing millions spent on it to get it running for the future.
  3. Sure the debt was 200k but it was definitely written off what ever it was. Re the answer to how much we owe Hewitson; it should be in last year's accounts if someone knows? - My point behind this question is if they're not financially propping us up then we don't really have too much to loose if they walked.
  4. If they walked away tomorrow how much would the club owe them financially?
  5. You need to open yours and look at bit further beyond this season's failings.
  6. It's another garbage home display but have to cut them some slack with playing Rangers mid week. Dunfermline didn't look anything particularly special despite being better than us on the day. The team we finished with was streets ahead of the one we started. Get Fox in goal, start with that final 11 incorporating the this striker from Blackpool and hopefully we'll do a bit better.
  7. I suppose apart from a miracle, a kind of Arbroath last season, there's only really two ways to get a successful squad and that's either to spend on the quality or to go through a number of players till you get the right formula. For me the current squad combination is; a handful of experience, a batch of youth tipped with seasoned players at this level. Imo the latter being the problem.
  8. Do you not mean Gordon Chisholm? I don't remember John Connolly ever being over the top with budget spending although it was a long time ago. Definitely under Chisholm/Davie Rae there were insane amounts of money spent which obviously nearly saw us go under.
  9. Not sure if it's any use to you but I usually go to BBC Scotland football, click the game and there's live text updates posted up on there.
  10. Program sellers deserting the club now? Geez what next,? Concrete between the bricks making a run for it. Heard we've been trying to hire some seagulls to help out but the club won't pay for a portion of chips. It really is just a shower of shit this club and all because of who's at the top..
  11. Still need a striker and winger / cm for me at least. He said he wasn't going to go down the loan player route. I get the logic behind that but a couple wouldn't hurt so long as they're decent.
  12. Does the current squad show any signs of being title contenders to you ? The club's aim this season is to go straight back up. It's only two games in but it's exactly the same shit fest as last year but in a lower division
  13. Two games and two teams we should be beating. We've dropped down a league and are full time. We have to be better than this surely...
  14. We're already 5 points off the top. Title contenders, you're have a fkin laugh. Oh but we didn't loose so it's a good result. Seriously.
  15. Every time guaranteed. We'd be better just being a permanent away team
  16. It was but where did the build up come from? Failure of the right back to cut out the cross . 3 of the 4 goals came from the right back positions failure. He was getting ripped apart every attack. Wasn't hard to fix, just get Gibson back there for all he was doing in midfield...
  17. Hewitson is a cancer of this club. It's being painfully destroyed by his presence - yet fan power is doing nothing about it. Few years back this would have seen visible banners and chants. No one seems to have the energy to care.
  18. We were shocking from front to back but all the danger was coming down the left. For all Gibson was doing in the centre it was a easy switch.
  19. Could Gibson not see the right back was getting destroyed all game.
  20. Exactly. I don't think it's as strong a squad on paper as all the optimism was suggesting. The result was not a massive surprise imo I think it's a mistake to dismiss the loan market. We've perhaps been a little too heavily reliant on it previously but surely one or two wouldn't be a bad thing.
  21. Able enough to play but good enough to get out....?
  22. Not really a surprise. Apart from 4 players the nucleus of the squad is of league 1 level.
