The film Aliens is loosely based around James Cameron's memorable trip to Methil Working Mens Club in 1986. It's all a bit confusing as to why a part time side that can't fill a bench managed to beat us twice in two weeks when you see our squad. Are we witnessing some great players coming through at Stranraer and Forfar or have we just lost the plot completely? I would say Morton have a better squad than both of them also but again appear to be struggling. In Buchanan we bought the best defender in the league, add to that the best 'keeper and young prospects Williamson and Martin who have international recognition. In midfield we have three or four excellent, potentially championship level players in Geggan, Falkingham, Byrne and maybe Spence. Stirling was in the team of the year from last season too. Ross Forbes was an SPL player not too long ago but can't even make the first time now?! Upfront we have Moffat and Wallace who should be able to score goals for fun in this league and have done so in the past. Also young prospects like Smith and Fais alongside Ugwu. I'm sorry but I really don't see how we are struggling? What the hell are we doing with these players and if Potter was coaching then is he part of the problem? It's just not acceptable to see set pieces wasted time and time again, chances not taken and then seeing a part time side take their one good chance from a basic error of judgement. Potter needs time to sort it but you have to ask real questions of the entire setup and also if full time training is worthwhile when it produces worse results than part time on the pitch. I still have a feeling that if we can go on a run and get Wallace and Moffat on form then we will start to head to the top. If you had shown me this league table in the summer I would've laughed at it. We should be running rings rounds these sides and bullying them. Instead it's the opposite. I guess Morton fans are saying the same, I'm just glad we are only a few points behind, we don't deserve to be anywhere near tbh.

Been thinking about it, going to start skipping next year and combining that with using a sandbag on days between weights. Never been a fan of running for some reason, just can't get into it unless I'm chasing a ball or going up or down a hill. Simply just a matter of mind over matter, more exercise less sitting about and eating.

Nah, Champion was cool for school. Along with brands not seen now like Chipie,McKenzie and Naff Naff. Also Kangol hats but that was a no no after an entire village started wearing them to school and got called Kangol heids. Troop were considered decent along with SPX, BK and Nike. Adidas were pretty much non existent for fashion shoes in the 90s where I was. Also huge tongues sticking out was cool for some reason. It was Fife though so probably not the best.
