  1. Usually have it on in the backround on Saturday morning, it's pretty tedious these days. Occasional funny sketch, think they need to end it tbh.
  2. I taught you were very autentic, like a yeng Gery Berlow.
  3. Thought about getting a samsung gear 2. Not sure I can justify it as I have a fitness band already. Like the look of it though.
  4. Same could be said for Whittle. Playing well and pumped out the team for Grainger. Taken off at Ibrox and shouted at then Gringer comes on and gets sent off. Only game I've seen Bryne dominate for the entire match was a comprehensive win at Airdrie, one of the best performances in midfield for the Pars for him. I think we have far too many central midfielders. I would like to see some sort of formation that uses Ryan Thomson and Forbes. They are pretty big guys compared to our normal midfield. I think we should try that against more physical sides and leave Bryne and Falkingham to come on later once the battle is won. Sometimes we over complicate things, just boot people and win the midfield... It's what Morton did to us at Cappielow. Williamson was taken right out and Josh got some attention. Ryan T came on and within minutes we won a penalty. Is it as simple as that?
  5. Byrne can be brilliant at times then can disappear for long periods too. I like him though.
  6. I feel that my workplace situation doesn't help, I feel like this too. I was treated badly in my last workplace and feel that certain aspects are happening again. Some people can just brush off being treated badly if they're not feeling down already but it hits me harder. Our department has a turnover of 30-40% and four or five people have walked out they felt so bad about it. Despite this somehow we are being entered into a competition for the best in UK and have consultants come in and we are stage managed into telling them lies and cover ups. There is no promotions, goals or real rewards, just certain people are suddenly golden boys to suit the agenda. This has created a horrible situation of spying, arse kissing and scapegoats. It's incredibly toxic and really effecting my mental health. If you don't come across as a happy clappy puppet you are singled out by the toadies and treated unfairly. I'm starting to think most workplaces are highly political and quite toxic nowadays. Simply working hard doesn't seem to be enough, it can actually make things worse, which sounds daft. It's the same for everyone but because I'm quiet and already in a distressed state I sometimes point out the truth and look unhappy. Sorry if I've gone a bit off topic but spending eight hours five days a week in this mentally demanding situation can be really tough. However compared to raider nation it all seems a little petty and selfish. I hope you get well soon.
  7. Thanks for the advice, had a few googles and most of it agrees about cutting carbs and replacing with protein. Starting from next week have replaced baked potatoes and most other post workout carbs. Like the sound of tuna and beans, going to add noodles with it. Also going to try whey protein, try some in porridge can it be added to Greek yoghurt? Also regarding compound exercise. I can't make it to a gym and want to get value from my garage stuff, is there any alternatives to compound stuff? Thinking using your own bodyweight like pressups etc? Looking to add one more item to home gym, don't have the space for a rack so will probably add to Dumbbells is there any other recommended equipement? Resistance ropes or trx type stuff?

  9. Quite like Workaholics, daft American show that has a bit of a dark sense of humour. http://www.sky.com/tv/show/workaholics The works night out one on acid was probably the best I've seen so far.
  10. Yeah, Alien is definitely the best. I think it was a horror whereas Aliens was more like an action film. It's also why Prometheus failed (IMHO) because they didn't focus on the story and looked at the action. I mean they hire the best minds on earth then one of them tries to clap the alien snake?! The android going mental was also far too obvious. If you take away the effects and the Alien franchise it's a turkey of a film. http://www.forbes.com/sites/daviddisalvo/2012/06/11/review-prometheus-is-a-visually-stunning-epic-failure/
  11. This is my routine, looking to lose fat - muscle gain not really important. Just want to sustain and not lose any. Monday 30-45 mins on stationary exercise bike. High to low intensity, try to build up a sweat. 45-70 mins weights - have free weights and multigym in garage. Use reverse pyramid system light-medium-heavy and usually do front to back system. (i.e. chest press then back exercise). x3 sets of leg extensions x2 sets of calf raises x3 sets of overhead dips x3 sets of rows x3 sets of dumbell press x3 sets of lat pull downs x3 sets of bench dumbbell pull ups x3 sets of bicep bar curls x3 sets of bicep curls - free weights x3 sets of tricep extensions Five min ab crunches workout. Tuesday Five min ab crunches workout Some pressups before Hour of Five-A-Side Wednesday Similar to Monday but change some exercises and the order. Thursday Same as Tuesday Friday 30 mins on bike and Ab five mins again, maybe pressups. Saturday Same as Monday - different order. Sunday - nothing, maybe a flat walk or some stretching. The weights I'm lifting is maximum forty kg for the bench exercises, I only weigh around 11st. Reps never go over twelve. Any advice would be welcome.
  12. Sorry I messed up its 2000ish calories minus about 500 for exercise. I have the screendumps from fitness pal but can't seem to be able to put them into a post. I used the actual brands so I think it's quite accurate. The porridge and nuts worked out at about ten Beef and yoghurt was around forty Soup was about five Tuna was forty Chicken was one and a half breasts chopped up that was about forty Chicken and noodles was low fat Asda Szechuan that was about thirty Breakdown for groups is 60% carbs, 30% protein and the rest is fat. I could cut down on carbs but find it hard to just eat chicken or tuna alone. Don't fancy protein shakes or bars tbh.
  13. 160 grams of protein today for me as a comparison, logged on fitness pal. Breakfast Porridge with almonds Snack Apple and two mandarin oranges Lunch Roast beef and potatoes Snack Banana Pre gym Three bean soup with pack of pre cooked chicken slices After gym Baked potato, tin of tuna, chicken and noodles 1500ish calories. Not very much but tried to eat more and just got quite fat. Trying to lose fat until under 10%, at 12 atm. Then will try to pack on lean muscle, will inevitably put some fat back on but don't want to bulk up when I have some fat already, I don't have a big frame really so any fat shows. Is this viable? Talking about a two year plan, not rushing anything. Any tips on losing the final few percent in fat?
  14. Been eating lots of granola this week and just deposited something that may cause bother at Rosyth dockyard. Not something to be proud of but I feel about half a stone lighter. Childbirth, meh.

  16. I'd had enough after the Cowden game, ultimately we have a soft spine to the team and are far too easy to beat when it comes to the games the really matter. For that reason alone we need to start asking serious questions about how the team is coached and managed. I'm not buying the 'he hasn't had enough time or resources to build a team'. How much time and resources did Jimmy Nicol have when he turned Cowden into a decent side from an absolute shambles? Six months, even less? They signed Chris Kane who was probably our seventh choice central midfielder. They would have bitten your hand off for the likes of Ross Forbes or Grainger who are both on more than any of their squad. Probably double and also training full time yet they made us look like the part time side. He has to go before we end up part time, how many people will keep paying £20 a month for that? It's all very well beating Peterhead or the easy teams but in the few games that mattered this season we have lost or drawn them all and scraped a win at Ayr. Brechin also beat Ayr....
  17. Obnoxious would be telling other posters to stop posting or challenging them to a fight.
  18. Classic dot net logic. Lets not actually discuss the original point and fling shite at each other.
  19. I have a read occasionally, not a member of the forum anymore.
