  1. You might be right, it’s hard to tell at times. Mind you some of the older fans that sit near me just moan constantly.
  2. Solid start but the crowd need to learn a bit of patience when teams sit it, there was booing around me in the KM stand at half time which is absolute w**k. We would have drawn that or even lost last season as we wouldn’t have broken them down. Decent start and we looked to have so much more in the tank than Annan second half. Ref was absolute guff but that’s just par for the course these days.
  3. Best starting line up we could get I think, pleased with that
  4. Maybe hybrid or part-time won’t be the horror show I have in my head. When you think of it plenty of clubs in that situation have got out of this league and done well in the championship. I just pray it doesn’t come to that and we get up this season. Listening to Jamie you have to even wonder if things weren’t going right for McGlynn would they have the cash to punt him. Think we all just need to get right behind him and the team and be as vocal in our support as we can be and if circumstances allow support the club financially as best as we all can.
  5. I’m only half way through listening to the podcast and Jamie’s honesty is really refreshing and I appreciate that but as a fan it’s a depressing listen. Bottom line is if we don’t go up we are humped. Financially we are teetering on the brink and if we don’t go up this season the Falkirk we will see next season will be a vastly different beast to what we are just now. The cup run wasn’t the cash cow we thought it would be and the money from the Scottish Government has been a far bigger bailout than money coming in from anything the team has done on the park. We are still paying soft loans and it sounds like without the money coming in from the Patrons and FSS we would have been part-time by now. Listening to what Jamie says I honestly fear for us and it absolutely reinforces for me how much McGlynn has to get this right and I’m not totally convinced I believe he will. Still listening to it and it’s a good , honest interview but it’s a worrying position we are in. It also underlines the fact of how much we fans are financially propping this club up and if for any reason that should stop or reduce god knows where we would be.
  6. Sibbald looks so comfortable on the ball, him and Docherty in the heart of the Utd midfield look quality.
  7. He can’t use Jordan Allan as an excuse if things go wrong as he hardly plays him anyway.
  8. Come on the Bairns, no fucking about this season let’s get this job done.
  9. That poor thing that’s living on the top of Martin Boyles head won’t be enjoying that wet rain.
  10. Hope Boyle scores more, the sight of that thing on the top of his head is giving me a right laugh.
  11. I know other clubs, Hibs being one offer fans who are ST holders hospitality at a discounted rate as they can sell on their seats. I know it’s not really relevant to us in L1 but would it be something they might consider in the future if we ever get back to the position of selling the stadium out.
  12. Our game v Stirling at home will be rearranged, they are still in the cup and according to BBC Sport next round is that weekend. I’d booked hospitality too
  13. I’ve been quite impressed with Ross so far and I think he’s shown he can play up top on his own. I’d love to see how him and Jordan Allan could pair up together but that’s unlikely to happen. His return of 3 in 4 is great and hopefully he can keep bagging some goals.
  14. That is my biggest fear. I honestly think we have the players to get out this league with a bit to spare but I’m not convinced we have the manager to utilise them correctly and not just rely on his favourites.
  15. If someone has offered Donaldson outside then they should hang their head in shame. I’ve said previously on here that I think McGlynn should be telling Coll just to keep things simple to help build his confidence. This Man City style playing out from the back maybe isn’t suited to a Scottish League One player who looks low in confidence at the moment. A lot of our issues could be solved by using McGinn sparingly, we looked a far more mobile team in the second half yesterday.
  16. That would be alright if it wasn’t for the tyre tracks, totally ruins it.
  17. Second half has given me a glimmer of hope for the season ahead, but I’ve a feeling at 2pm next Saturday when I see McGinns name with Spencer on the team sheet that hope will be gone. McGlynn has never shown that he will learn from what has gone before, so I don’t know why I should expect him to look at the second half performance and see it was a better line up than what he started with.
  18. Would love to see Ross and Jordan Allan given a chance up top together.
  19. Look a different side with Henderson and Miller in there, much more pace and urgency. Will McGlynn see this and use McGinn more sparingly
  20. I’m actually thinking McKay and Lang would maybe be worth trying, desperate I know.
  21. Yip I don’t see the need for McGinn and Spencer in games like this. If this doesn’t improve drastically McGlynn will be lucky to see the end of August, massive grumblings in the KM stand already.
