I agree with a lot of the sentiment around the theory of keeping McGlynn but although he’s received numerous red dots I can buy into a bit of what Bairn in Exile is saying in his post.
McGlynn’s team next year will be his, the type of football we see will be completely his and there will be no excuses. He has to show that he can adapt and that there is a plan A,B,C etc etc. If come October/November he and his team aren’t showing that he will be gone and we will be back to square one.
The board are in a horrible position because if things go well they will be praised and if it goes tits up, the nay sayers amongst us will say they should have got rid now. They are very much damned if they do, damned if they don’t at the moment.
