  1. I agree, Max would be one of the first names on the team sheet for me. I would drop Nesbitt or Morrison.
  2. Just watched the highlights and have to feel that McGlynn’s handling of Ola this season hasn’t been great. I know he was injured for a time but looking at the game time other players have been given in midfield I feel Ola should have been used a lot more. He has something different/unpredictable about him and I would definitely hope we keep him and play him a lot more.
  3. Just seen a bit of the ceremony on the news and they are a shower of freak show inbred c***s the lot of them. So glad the rain pissed down on the lot of them and don’t get me started on the fuckers inside the church wearing the daft gowns and crowns.
  4. If Rowe doesn’t make it, I would be tempted to try and see if any of our centre backs could fill in at RB instead of Williamson. We could move Henderson back in defence as cover.
  5. Too close to call this one, both sides well capable of winning through over the two legs. I fancy our chances to get a win at Airdrie but I think Airdrie could do the same to us at TFS. God knows how this will go.
  6. As I do a lot of Saturdays, helping out at a lunchclub at a local chapel in Grangemouth between 11.30 and 14.30 for the elderly and folk who are struggling with the cost of living crisis.
  7. Renewed my ST today for next season and have added an additional for my 3 yr old granddaughter. Her Dad is a Celtic fan and even though she might not go much next season I need to make sure early doors that she takes the right path in life.
  8. Seen James with an orchestra and choir at the Usher Hall on Saturday, decent gig and the addition of the orchestra definitely adds a different dimension to a bands sound. One sour note for me was the anti Sturgeon comment from Saul. That’s me seen James, Morrissey and John Lydon in the past few years and they have all felt the need to throw in their tuppence on Scottish politics. Just my opinion but no need for it, I’m there to listen to the music and have a good night and don’t care about a band or individual members political persuasion.
  9. I agree with this, I would play Oliver and drop Morrison and give Kennedy free rein to switch flanks if required. Burrell and Oliver could work really well if given a chance to build up an understanding.
  10. I’d start Oliver and play him with Burrell as I think they could work. I agree with dropping Morrison, he has been really poor recently.
  11. We play a lot of nice stuff but at times it’s very laboured and we are nowhere near clinical enough in front of goal. Going forward, no matter what happens in the playoffs it needs addressed during the summer transfer window.
  12. Burrell up top on his own doesn’t work, he is decent and is good with the flick ons but you just wish McGlynn would try him and Oliver for a change.
  13. I’m sure a certain poster on here who has links to Lt Stardust can clear that up for us.
  14. I remember saying on here that I thought he would move onto bigger and better things and could one day play for Scotland. He was a great player who was so unlucky with injuries, loved the big lad
  15. That will do for second place, get the semi out the way and rest up for the playoffs.
  16. I don’t think McGlynn is learning here. One up front with Burrell on his own is even worse that one up front with Oliver on his own. John just ain’t for changing.
  17. I agree totally and for me it has to include Oliver and Burrell up top.
  18. I think you are agreeing with Reggie in that the fans shouldn’t be booing Ryan. He was probably one of our better players tonight and for me also booing him is not right.
  19. That is an issue for me with all our strikers apart from Oliver. They have all had scraps in terms of game time and that isn’t how you get confidence or understanding into a front man’s game. They feed off confidence and a wee run of goals can make all the difference but none of them have had the chance to build up an understanding in a front pairing and get a run of regular goal scoring going.
  20. He looks absolutely fucked from the first off in games now. Looks like the summer rest can’t come quick enough for him. He is one for me that should have been getting rested plenty recently. I still like him but I just think the poor guys knackered.
  21. Lone striker despite none of our 4 strikers being suited to that role. Changed things against the Pars and Montrose recently and we got 4 points out of 6 but bizarrely went back to one up top Saturday and tonight and we got 1 point out of 6. He just doesn’t seem to want to change it long term.
