  1. Talk of sacking him before the playoffs and semi is wild in my opinion but he is bringing all this heat on himself and has no one else to blame. His stubbornness with the one man up top has shown that he’s either not keen on changing things around or he doesn’t have the tactical nouse to do it. Time and again this season our team has been sussed by managers with a lot less experience than McGlynn.
  2. I’ve stuck up for McGlynn on numerous occasions this season but I am seriously beginning to doubt him. His lack of flexibility with formations is really starting to f**k me off.
  3. You just know McGlynn will bring Oliver on and take Burrell off soon.
  4. We don’t have a striker on our books who can play up front on their own which is baffling from McGlynn as he favours that set up. You would have thought knowing that’s how he sets up, he would have brought in strikers with that role in mind.
  5. I think the FSS do a grand job with the communication and other things they do for the club. I’m a member but due to other commitments at the moment, I don’t have the time to help in any other way. I take my hat off to the volunteers who give up their time to work on behalf of the members and the club.
  6. The donner pies are excellent, try one at the playoffs.
  7. Think both clubs could go into the playoffs thinking they can win through. We had most of the ball in the first half and were the better side, Airdrie the better in the second and look really dangerous going forward. Don’t think either side will fear the other but there will be mutual respect as we are both quite closely matched.
  8. I don’t think Burrell and Allan works as Allan doesn’t hold the ball up and link the play as well as Oliver. If it’s two up top it has to involve Oliver I think.
  9. Congratulations Dunfermline, worthy winners and won the league at a canter I’m away to get this dry boak out my mouth
  10. I’m undecided as to whether to give the FFF initiative the £10 a month or would it not be better upping my FSC payment to try and help buy up the unsold shares.
  11. Yeah, that is a good option to have if you don’t want to buy it up front.
  12. My reading of it is that it’s just a donation that will go straight into the player budget and for signing up to it you get the option to pay the ST over 12 months.
  13. I currently pay FSS £20 a month and I’m happy to pay my ST up front. Have looked at this FFF thing but I think I’ll just stick with what I’m currently doing. If I could afford another £10 a month, would I be better giving it to FFF or giving the FSS another £10, thoughts anyone
  14. 2 nil, some free kick Kai. Camera work by MOTV is murder.
  15. I agree, I post very rarely now after 20 years of being on P&B. I get the feeling my days are numbered as it’s the same old pish these days.
  16. I like the look of that team, I’d maybe be tempted to try Lawal instead of Max as he is something of an unknown for the Pars. Happy to start with Max though and introduce Ola through the game.
  17. Just watched the highlights, that goal is never offside and the penalty is a stonewaller. These officials are a fucking joke.
  18. It’s 4 points more than the Falkirk teams of the past 4 seasons would have got. McGlynn has made us a better team and even if we don’t go up this season I would stick with him and Smith and give them the summer to try and address the areas of the squad that need work. I’m an optimist though, we have a cup semi and play offs to look forward too. Even if we don’t go up this season things are definitely improving.
  19. I wouldn’t be panicking yet, 7 games to go and a lot of football to be played. We look a wee bit jaded just now but it’s fine margins between us winning and not. Airdrie are on a bit of a run just now but that might not be the case by the play offs. Keep the faith and don’t rise to the other fans fishing trips.
  20. I’ve just started listening to The Slow Readers Club after seeing them on Soccer AM about a month ago. I don’t know why I’d never heard anything of them before as they are so my kind of music. I’ve added all their albums to my iTunes library and I’ve loved everything I’ve listened to so far. I know they have recently played live in Glasgow but unfortunately it clashed with another commitment but I will definitely be looking to see them live in the future.
  21. I think that it’s fair to expect players to have a wee spell when they are maybe not at the top of their game and form tails off a wee bit for a couple of games. We all have times at work when we maybe aren’t at our best. I think McCann, Nesbitt and Brad McKay have on the whole been excellent for us this season and look totally different players to last season. The credit for that has to go to John, Paul and the rest of the coaching staff.
