  1. Yip, you would think players have already been identified as potential signings. I suppose the uncertainty over league status might alter things.
  2. I totally agree with you and I feel that if teams like Dunfermline double up on Kennedy, Morrison it totally nullifies any threat we have. Going forward to next season whether we are in League One or the Championship I don’t feel the team needs a massive overhaul. What are the key positions everyone feels McGlynn needs to focus on. I think we will need a striker with a bit more physical presence and we need to add a bit of dig to midfield, as well as a creative midfield player. We will also need a new right back as we cannot underestimate what Blaine has brought to the side. It will be refreshing not to need yet another complete squad overhaul though.
  3. Exactly, hopefully bring some of them back down to earth and focused on what needs to be done. They have achieved feck all yet and shouldn’t need reminded of that.
  4. I wasn’t there today so can’t comment on the display but how often does that happen, a massive come down after a great performance on Monday night.
  5. Here Sir, I thought I was great right from the off on Monday night. I was out my seat singing, jumping about like a dafty. I’m sorry I scared the shit out of you but I was waving my flag with the best of them
  6. Telfers face as Rob and Fowler said they fancy Falkirk against ICT in the cup semi was just so pleasing. Hope the Navy Blue Gods do the business on 29th April to inflict more pain
  7. I was 31 when we got to our first final in 1997. I would love to see how our cup record fairs against similar size clubs since I was born in 1966 as I think we have defo punched above our weight. On a totally separate issue, just watched the Blaine Rowe interview, I would love it if we could keep him as he’s been brilliant and has a real enthusiasm about being here.
  8. That sounds a better idea than just a single drum. We could build a stage in the corner at the South/Main and put a full band in there. It would beat a lorry or some dudes in a hot tub.
  9. Nope it’s not the roof or the windbreaks, it’s the lack of a drum.
  10. The Hearts 3-1 semi defeat at Ibrox where Crunchie owned Gary Naismith was an absolute kick in the nads as well.
  11. See when the Fifers come on here on their regular fishing trips just ignore the c***s and they might go away. If folk rise to their pish they keep coming back.
  12. I wouldn’t mind paying a monthly membership type subscription with as you say no tangible return. I don’t really bother about the whole share side of things with my FSS payment. I suppose I’m lucky that I can afford to do this but I remember the dark days of administration and never want to see the club in the wrong hands again.
  13. I can’t see us wearing red as it does kind of clash with both. Hope we play in Navy Blue, mind you it clashes with them too
  14. Who will play in what colours, hope we don’t wear our all red strip as I don’t like it. Hope we are in Navy Blue, what colour is Caleys away strip as I think we are the home side as we we’re drawn first.
  15. I found another on You Tube it’s been posted by a young Ayr fan. Unfortunately I’m useless with tech stuff to share the link. It’s called “late winner knocks Ayr out in the Scottish Cup quarterfinals”. I’ve watched the bit at 2m 51sec where it shows the South erupting when Kai’s shot hits the net about 20 times. A truly lovely sight after the shit we’ve endured since relegation.
  16. That’s going to be a right busy period, good job we have a decent sized squad.
  17. I think as well the fact it’s ICT will attract a better crowd from us and Caley. People will take kids who they may not have if we were facing either of the ugly sisters. It will be a better atmosphere with none of the bile associated with the arse cheeks.
  18. I agree Tynecastle would probably be a better venue from a fans/atmosphere perspective, but I don’t think you would get many of the players agreeing. For some this will probably represent their only chance ever to play at the national stadium.
  19. After the horror show of the past 4 seasons I honestly never thought I’d see us playing at Hampden in a cup semi again. Massive credit to the board, management team and players who have us all believing again. Thought the crowd was excellent and got right behind the team tonight. Still think we need a drum though COYB
  20. West mains Industrial Estate is good and easy for getting back onto the motorway depending on where your heading back to.
  21. That’s another issue, we don’t exactly have loads of songs, hopefully a young team with their drum could come up with some new ones.
