Watched the Falkirk TV highlights and didn’t think it was a pen, but on viewing the Alloa TV from a better angle it was a penalty. On the whole Alloa deserved their point, the gaffer tried something with the line up and it didn’t work. We went two up top but sacrificed the width in our side so essentially we starved the two front men of ammunition. A draw at Alloa isn’t a bad result as they are a decent side, so no need for panic stations. There will be a lot more points dropped by all sides involved in the shake up before any prizes are handed out. Just got to move on to the next game and learn from the selection mistakes as to what did and didn’t work.

A bit of sense from an opposing fan after a drawn game, good to see.

We didn’t get beat when playing shite, it’s a point closer to them. They have to go and beat Airdrie which won’t be easy.

I see we have taken the most points from a losing position in the league so far. Credit to the players and management team for emptying our previous bottle merchants, they would never have had us at the top of that chart.

I don’t get why Higginbotham behaves how he does. I can’t ever remember there being issues when he left us and he was on the whole well liked when he played with us. He has generated the bad feeling towards him now with his dickhead antics.

With Henderson in midfield we won’t be as easily dominated in midfield. I’m confident we can get a result tomorrow.

Was that FC Edinburgh’s stadium they were showing images of at half time. Is that where Queens Park are planning on playing next season.

I know and agree totally, but unfortunately it’s where we find ourselves at the moment.

Kelty on Saturday is huge, given the way we have played against them in the previous two games. We have to win the physical battle and take our chances. I think the squad is better placed mentally to do this, Henderson in midfield makes a big difference.

Yeah, I work in Edinburgh and love the place. I just don’t see any councils now helping out football clubs as the majority are all allegedly struggling financially.

Looking at the amount of Community Halls, libraries, swimming pools, council gyms that FDC are looking to shut or offload onto community ownership, I don’t think finding a home for FC Edinburgh will be high on EDC’s priority list. FDC are holding consultations on what they keep and what they shut/offload, Grangemouth Sports Stadium is even on the list and it gets used for national athletic events. Just a pity we don’t have a benefactor with deep pockets as the council are so skint you have to feel a deal could have been done for TFS.

Exactly pal, always gave me a sense of superiority that I had risen above that bile. Even when they were winning league titles, cups etc I would never have swapped following the Bairns for what they had.
