    Apparently the club tried to identify the individual concerned but the CCTV footage wasn’t clear. The person who received the abuse said she didn’t know the person involved and she knows a lot of our regulars. I agree regarding banning the person involved.

    Was speaking to a lovely lady this morning who has volunteered at our club for many many years. She was telling me she’s not sure if she’s coming back next season after the abuse she received from someone at the second last home game, shouting and swearing at her. We have some utter c***s in our fanbase.

    Wonder how much it would cost to replace the pitch after next season with grass or the hybrid. Would it be worth the BFL or FFS money going towards that or would it need way more than that, I’ve no got a clue with regards to these things.

    Yip want us to get the right players too, I just hope that JM and PS have possibly identified said right players and we get them in earlier. Always feel a good signing in the forward positions has a positive affect when it comes to things like ST sales. Mind you with the shite we have signed the past few seasons any decent signing will help.

    Really hope we get a couple of decent front men in early doors. Probably one of the hardest positions on the park to fill, especially in our case recently.

    I’ve got to be honest and say I can relate to this. I’m 56 soon and have watched the Bairns for almost 50 years and I now really don’t pay that much attention to opposition players. Back in the day i could have told you about other teams and players but not now. Even when we are linked with other players or even sign them I need to Google them to find out about their playing history, it’s maybe an age thing.

    I don’t think I’ve ever went on another clubs thread to tell them how shite any of our ex players have been when they’ve signed them, just cba to be honest.

    Hope JM follows this up with a GK, CM and a CF. If he gets a good spine to the team then that’s a start to building a decent squad.

    Exactly, not getting ahead of ourselves for one minute but it’s refreshing not to sign players that every one and their aunty tells us is utter mince from day one.

    Two signings by McGlynn so far, Arbroath fans rate Henderson and Pars fans rate Donaldson. Wtf is going on, we don’t sign players that previous clubs fans rate, we aren’t used to this. We normally only sign players that from day one their previous clubs fans tell us they are utter shite and 99.9% of the time they are spot on. This is a strange new feeling but I like it. Keep it going John

    I think our fanbase really do now just moan about anything, over the last five years we have become so accustomed to everything being negative that many now just find it easier to moan than praise when something good is being done. Mind you, that’s probably bullshit as we have always had some right miserable b@stards in our fanbase.
