  1. IF you believe what the scientists say/claim : why wouldn't you wear a mask at all times...and be socially distanced ? Not much to ask is it. Heard many cases of false names etc been given on T&T, another lockdown would destroy the UK financially, blame those who won't obey fairly lax guidelines, thanks.
  2. Seems a solid idea well thought out, wonder if this would include any midweek games ? All depends on how Mother Nature treats us during the winter months, just be good to get started again. (not looking at the finish line yet)
  3. Lockdown = Less tests, less cases, covers up what a crap job of testing the governmental have done. Less cases = get people back out around November,December as they'll all be dying to queue up Inthe shops. What a load of shite . More job losses, less N.I and tax going into the coffers
  4. Down here in Bristol the traffic is really busy around 6a.m and then anytime after 430*5 so almost back to normal. Some people are still working from home NHS, MOD, but loads have gone back into offices now.
  5. Got a feeling that the players can't wait to get started, whether that's no changing rooms and showers etc. Hope the fans can be sensible, let's get it on. That way i can pay another visit in November, selfish i know ! !
  6. Yeah and what sort of value ? On a good day with a crowded auction house, start at £1 How long before the East/North Juniors start climbing the ladder to senior status ?
  7. Wouldn't bank on the spfl voting for anything, look how long it took down south with the National League going into the EFL. Mention 2 relegated and clubs will demand that 2 go up, just to improve their chances, and not being out in the wilderness. 2 up 2 down and no play offs, simple.
  8. Following some of the fear comments, people must be starving in isolation seeing as they're afraid to visit the shops etc, must have beer in the fridge eh. We know how many have died, just think we have to learn how to live with the virus, before the. UK is ruined beyond repair. Put the nets up !
  9. Down here in England, clubs got together and went to the FA and government to say 'save our game' , with loads of support. Football is exempt from the Joy of 6 guideline, therefore nearly all of our non league and parks level football has started. Crowds are coming back in decent numbers, clubs have tried hard to follow guidelines and that's with the English covid19 numbers too. Wish Scotland would give clubs a chance.
  10. Ignorance is bliss, must say I sometimes boil over and give em a mouthful clubs are run by volunteers, haven't got time to do a programme or put on a 4course meal for some fat bloke. Enjoy the game, the area if poss, etc etc.and be happy just to be there. Heard one clown drove 120 mls and then returned coz there wasn't a programme, missing the game. Should be in an asylum. (On a par with train hoppers)
  11. Imagine that,a vaccine made by the Chinese.... wouldn't trust them 1% I'm afraid. Stick your Chairman Mao thinking where the sun don't shine
  12. Glad to say that most groundhoppers are normal folk, the extreme one's spoil it for the rest of us, with their over the top antics. You wouldn't recognise me from being any different to the usual fans, apart from my accent I usually steer clear of organised events, usually doing things by myself in my own time.
  13. Going by the guidelines the TV isn't meant to be loud, players are asked not to shout or spit during the game, the catering needs to be sold behind a screen but as you say, is that clean or healthy ? I try not to criticise but like groups of fans stood together, almost like normality isn't great. Think some clubs and pubs will turn a blind eye until they get caught, whilst other clubs struggle due to lack of stewards etc. Guessing the sensible folk just need to be careful among the idiots. The recent FA grassroots guidelines are interesting with a few questions.
  14. Only a quickie as I'm not clever enough to get involved too deeply, most companies, some shops can supply a flu vaccine, not sure at what cost. If say a covid19 vaccine costs £50+ then who are going to pay for it anyway ? and what if there isn't a guarantee that covid gets beaten by the jab ? Maybe the government brings in a vaccine just to calm the nation or ease their fears.
  15. Had 6 months to sort out the testing and results problems, fully confident that the clowns in charge can quickly solve this, like f**k. Imagine getting results 3 months later (after sample had been mislaid) saying you've got it after all, better late than never eh. Useless. Don't get these problems on CSI
  16. Rather bizarrely it seems the English FA have thrown clubs out of the FA Cup if there are positive tests, mainly because the games won't get replayed. Will always be isolated cases, across all walks of life, can we really afford to have a non-season ?
  17. Wearside League ,damned keyboard doing what it wants these days
  18. Said this ages ago, join the Northern , or Westside League and fly through the pyramid -what a journey, ending up in the EFL 2 in the distant future. If Guernsey and Jersey can get in , then who knows eh.
  19. Just society I'm afraid, like when you see anti mask folk claiming 'i want my freedom: or 5,000 idiots outside Leeds and Liverpool (sad scousers) celebrating. If any of them catch it from being there, don't mention Hillsborough ever again. The clubs are going to try really hard to stick to the guidelines - they are doing it for US the fans, respect their decisions please ?
  20. There are always going to be loads of cases v a low death rate (at the moment) I would rather believe that it's the poor actions of adults that are seeing a rise in cases - rather than schools. People returning to pubs, shops and work ,along with ignoring the household guidelines. The longer this goes on,i feel that everything is now politically based struggle rather than trying to save lives (as things were at the start)
  21. Sounds great but I'll send a mystery amount of money for a mystery shirt, if I don't like it then I'll happily have my money refunded unless you're over in the Costa's by then. Best get a market stall and take your chance
  22. Can't imagine everyone turning up to get tested, but if that's what she wants, and everyone stays home for 2 weeks, imagine if she was in India or somewhere with overwhelming cases. Good luck !
  23. Many thanks, thought it was a good idea, much more fashionable than those burkha things ! And you wouldn't have to keep throwing them away. Best start knitting now
