  1. None of it is whataboutery. How on earth do you draw the conclusion that the EoS or its clubs have any sort of solidarity with Junior clubs in Tayside, particularly in light of what has gone on these last 3 years? it's a bizarre take on the situation I have to say, in my opinion...........
  2. Yip, that guy is worth the watching. It wasn't so long ago he was calling for L2 relegation to be suspended for 3 seasons.
  3. As I explained it's not their business. I wouldn't expect the HL or its clubs to get involved over whether Tayside clubs joined the EoS for example. There's a solution there for Tayside clubs within the HL pyramid if they want it. As for solidarity, that was in short supply when a certain individual from Tayside was chucking around abuse and accusing the EoS board of lying on here a couple of years back.
  4. If the EoS decide Tayside is not their area then I can't see them being interested in what happens next, unless the highly unlikely scenario of a Tayside league entering at tier 6 feeding the LL arises. It would then be upto the Tayside/ERJFA to approach the HL and NRJFA and sort it themselves, with the assistance of the SJFA if needs be. The EoS really need to make a decision either way (regardless of whether applications have been made or not) so this matter can be moved along towards a solution and we can all argue about something else other than bloody lines.
  5. If the EoS declare that they don't consider that the league covers areas north of the HL/LL line, then that kills the debate stone dead. If they go in the other direction, that is when other leagues need input.
  6. If they were I must have missed it. I'm not aware of a date for contact training.
  7. Non contact training in groups of upto 15 allowed from Friday.
  8. First dose vaccination numbers have fallen off a cliff.
  9. The boundary issue doesn't need to be ratified at an AGM.
  10. I believe it is also highly resistant to soap.
  11. Yip, more people will die from it in winter. Tell us something we don't know Whitty.
  12. The EoS seems to approach these things by allowing clubs a years grace to comply. So for example if the club have plans to get portable changing rooms into the ground but it wont happen until the end of the year, they may get dispensation. Perhaps the WoS will adopt that approach.
  13. The smaller clubs still play in the ERJFA, the better clubs would perhaps join forces with the better NRJFA clubs in a combined top division, the winners go to the HL. something like that is fairly straightforward and very workable. I'm fairly sure that the bigger Dundee area clubs will easily cope with the demands of the HL and attract renewed interest, and after a few years there may be more than one or two in there anyway, along with the likes of Banks O'Dee. Let's remember they already have a Tayside/North Cup in the Juniors, so both leagues know the lie of the land.
  14. If for example, Forfar West End got to the Lowland League, they would be expected to travel to Dalbeattie (6.5hr round trip) Gretna (6 hour round trip), Berwick (5.5hr, same as Fort William), and if Stranraer ever got relegated it would be over 7 hours (same as Brora). Wick is just the one game.
  15. My only point is that people should not read a newspaper headline and then make assumptions. I've not read the full article and therefore have no idea what it contains, neither has Dev, so how can it be used as any sort of evidence for a resumption of football? I've already said on here that I want the season to resume with promotion and relegation, but it has to be done safely (you'll know why in our case if you read my posts).
