  1. Are there any regulations which prevent Rangers or Celtic or anyone else buying a controlling interest in a lower level club and turning them into defacto Colt teams? eg. BSC Glasgow, hardly any support and hiring Alloa, maybe ripe for it. Caledonian Braves could be another target, Cumbernauld Colts. Clubs with very little in the way of support but playing at the level below the SPFL. Curious if its an avenue they'll seek to exploit if Colt teams fail.
  2. Took an hour Half-Truthy, you're slipping. Just work it out. Penicuik and Dundonald have 9 games left to play, Jeanfield 8, another half dozen or more have 7 games and all that takes 5 weeks mimimum, probably 6 as each team wont get a clear Sat/Wed/Sat run every week. Add in the fact that you'll probably need 3 weeks of full contact training minimum (which won't be allowed until 17th May as things stand), then you'll need 9 weeks. That's not taking into account postponements. It's only just over 6 weeks from 17th May to 30th June. I'll also add in that when Scotland wide travel opens up on 26th April, along with shops and other things, players/coaches/committee turning round to families and saying that's me at training 2/3 times a week and then playing/helping twice a week until the end of June, would go down like a lead balloon for many. As you said yourself back in January "That’s the season finished because the covid 19 issue won’t be gone in 3 weeks. All the leagues will have to be voided and hopefully started again in August" You've been proved right eventually.
  3. The pragmatic solution is to complete the season to halfway and settle on PPG as agreed by clubs but now seems unlikely, or null & void as agreed by clubs.
  4. How do clubs sign or re-sign players for a new season if they don't know what division they will be playing in? Unworkable.
  5. You've been to Harthill then (maybe not the factory bit)
  6. The number I'm working to is 3.35m which was the number quoted for everyone in the 1-9 Groups. 15th April is 30 days away, so we need 46k a day every day from tomorrow if we're to hit that based on those numbers. Clearly some people wont get the vaccine, but uptake seems to be running at over 95%
  7. We really have stalled re new infections and are now well above the UK figures. Vaccinations numbers seem slow to get upto speed, if we're to hit the 15th April target for all 1-9 groups we need to be doing 45k first jags a day, every day.
  8. Thanks. Clear as mud! So using 17th May as an example when "adult contract sport can resume" eg fitba below SPFL, I read that as perhaps it can in say Fife and Edinburgh, but it wouldn't in the Lothians as things stand as they wouldn't fall into the Level 2 limits, they'd still be at Level 3.
  9. There appears to be a lot on confusion out there as to how the Levels systems interacts with the timeable. I'm one of those confused. Is this timetable now what is being followed, or will Levels be re-introduced (when?) to further complicate matters and on 17th May for example, some pubs can open indoors but some wont be and will be delayed until....? depending on Levels? The messaging is again confusing and poor.
  10. So how do the Levels interact with this, or is that it?
  11. I know for a fact that wont work in my local, not a chance. "Can you leave please your time is up........" aye right.
  12. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/pumpherston-boss-says-move-east-23735962?fbclid=IwAR3v5CXh_-FQBpvtm8QRqDo_WQUMJOAW6CTrr8tSl0izUbuiej6Y1I2Atng
  13. So anyway let's get to the crunch, any leaks on when the pubs are open?
  14. Opportunity there for Tayside clubs, would make cool t-shirts. Luncarty could pile in as well, just for the banter.
  15. The very last time the LL invited applications, didn't they stipulate that clubs had to be south of the HL/LL line? That allied to their recent rejection of moving that line northwards to facilitate Brechin would suggest the addition of Tayside clubs into their half of the Pyramid would be problematic.
  16. Would be good to understand what it actually says. FWE were a good club at one time, at the top end of the ERJFA.
  17. If that Champion falls into HL territory is where this becomes problematic. It's never been tested.
