I commented on Thursday that the Liverpool crowd were incredibly quiet - the response was that there was some sort of protest from fans against increasing prices........seems the protest has been carried on...they really are not helping their team. Can hear the players shouting on the pitch.

Like others have said Stewart was a very good pundit. Used to love his arguments with Levein and he came across well and said a lot of things that people were probably screaming at the radio. However, I think this was the catalyst for his more recent demise. Lots of people were talking about Michael Stewart and how he put Levein in his place........the BBC clearly loved it as people were tuning into Sportsound. As a result he is now clearly encouraged to have a rammy whether or not he believes what he is saying.......and with his arch-nemisis Levein gone it all comes across as far too contrived. Incidentally, I used to listen to Sportsound through the week whilst making my tea- i am right in thinking it was on four or five nights a week (not including weekends) - when Get-It-On was on another frequency. I dont think it is ever on mid-week now unless there is a match?

I would imagine there is now the threat that home qualifiers for USA 2026 will be played away from Hamden - just seen the news that Glasgow is a potential host for the Commonwealth games in 2026. I recall that Hampden was out of commission for about a year or so to install the raised track. Rep of Ireland game was at Parkhead and Georgia at Ibrox - just checked and see that they were after the Commonwealth games - whilst the stadium was reverting to football and track removed.

I work with a Buckie player and they are completely focused on Saurday....win that and aim to get as many goals next Mon and Weds....they seem confident.

Don't really care much for watching the Masters......all I want to do is play golf. Wait six months for the season to start, got one medal played and course has been closed ever since (ok it was open for a day but were on 5 winter greens) Medal cancelled again today and looking ahead to this weekend its another couple of days of rain and 40mph winds. Worst start to a season since Covid !!!

I did turn off.....listened for a few minutes then switched off as it was quite clear that Off The Ball wasnt on......at least ten mins I listened for and no mention of fitba at all. It is only coming here to this thread on a Tuesday morning that I find ou that it was Off The Ball afterall.
