Caledonian1 replied to Ad Lib's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
I don' think he was actually looking for you to prove it.....but there you go...... -
I genuinely cant go to the N Ireland game. I have bought the 5 game package and wondered if there was anyway i could pass my electronic ticket onto someone else (the son of one of the guys I usually go with) Happy to share log-in details with him if need be but currently unsure if it is possible. Anyone able to advise?

Caledonian1 replied to Lyle Lanley's topic in Domestic Cup Football
20 mins........I thought it would be earlier. No idea why it was given though....especially with VAR being used -
Quick squint at the BBC news website this morning...........whats the latest on Gaza?, hopefully the Ukrainians are still able to maintain their resistance to the advancing Russian army....has a General Election been called......has US politics become any madder? However, all is good with the world...........the main news article in Scotland brings us the news that we have all been waiting for and quite frankly I cannot believe we have had to wait until his 60th birthday for this honour to be bestowed. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-68520949

Tory Lies, Corruption and Hypocrisy- Add Them Here
Caledonian1 replied to HTG's topic in The Politics Forum
It's how the tories have implemented policy for the past few years .....phone your pals at the Telegraph or other right wing paper (pretty much any paper) get the news oot there and see what the reaction is and act accordingly. Why have focus groups when you can get everyone to have their say. Not sure about the Windfall tax one (proposed extension) that could be designed to make Douglas Ross look as if he has fought really hard to get a u-turn from the Chancellor....then again I dont think an of the cabinet know who Moray Ross is anyway....... -
A Photographic History Of Scottish Football

That goal for Ireland resulted in the Dutch goalie, Van Breukelen, being dropped for the quarter final v West Germany....however, he ended up in goals for the game when Dons keeper Theo Snelders pulled out of the team due to the physchological affliction - shitting himsel'. A great Dutch team made up of players from the great AC Milan team of the time, PSV, Barcelona, Ajax and of course Aberdeen - their forward line for much of the second half was Gullit, Van Basten and Gillhaus. Gillhaus and Snelders had played in a much bigger game 6 weeks earlier beating Celtic 9-8 in the Scottish Cup Final I was also at the Costa Rica game and dont want to talk about it.......... -
Great goal by Lewis to put Bologna 2-1 up

The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23
Caledonian1 replied to a topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
6 out of 10 for 2points from 18? What would a manager have to do to achieve say a 3 or 4 out of ten? I would say Warnock is no more than a 2 out of 10. Do you think Leven would have managed to squeeze more than 2 points from last 6 matches (thought we were excellent in second half v Celtic - looked as if the players wanted to play for him.....see none of that with Colin w****r -
St Mirren v Aberflaps 02/03/24

The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23

Get Peter Leven in for the rest of the season. 6 league games for Warnock and 3 points out of 18.......utterly hopeless run of form and in serious danger of having a play-off (think Livvy have gone) No doubt Warnock will berate his players again tonight and knock their confidence even further -
Well I applied online for a passport last Monday evening (26th Feb) sent off my old one second class on Tuesday and received my new passport in the post yesterday morning at 7.55am (1st March) So there you go the turnaround was quicker......... Must admit I was expecting a few weeks and was starting to think that if I didnt do anything soon enough i would be looking to engage one of the Channel small boat operators to get me into Europe in time for Germany v Scotland on June 14th

Back in starting line up today v Sevilla. Already 2-0 down (after 18 mins) Live on Viaplay

well that is obviously a load of shite as th BBC reported this a few weeks back......... Posted February 11 I find it so annoying when the BBC reveal a result before a game is played - this is from 15 mins prior to kick off of Airdrie v Hearts The full quarter-final draw Greenock Morton v Airdrieonians Celtic v Livingston Aberdeen v Kilmarnock Hibernian v Rangers
