I’m due mine tomorrow and have no concerns but that’s not the case for everybody. Well done for going. It’s the correct decision.

Cheers, that’s reassuring. I’m glad I went, anxiety is a b*stard but I’ve dealt with it that long that sometimes you just have to say f*ck it and go.

Got the AZ Jag this morning only side effect so far was missing a Hermes delivery. The nurse said a fair few folk had failed to turn up. Wonder if they are a bit worried with the sensational blood clot headlines.

I really wasn’t for going to mine today. My anxiety can be mental at times and after reading the blood clot headlines it really did have me worried. Eventually thought f*ck it and just went. No side effects yet.

    Dont cancel it mate.

In saying that, what is it you're worried about? Quite a few users on here had it. I got Pfizer but would happily have injected the AZ one into my eye if that's what was offered.

I had mine last Wednesday and they could have jagged it straight into my eyeballs, for what it was worth. In and out Forth Vally College within 3-4 mins, including time for a wee chat with the nurse who was jagging. The upper arm was very slightly tingly the next day but really not a problem.

Cheers folks. That’s made me feel a bit more a ease.
I read about the blood clots and Countries temporarily banning the use of AZ. Got me a bit worried, but I’m prone to worry about absolutely everything.

That’s my daughter (33) and son who recently turned 30 both been offered their vaccine and booked in for next week. My sons partner who’s 25 also got offered it but she refused it as she’s pregnant. All have no health conditions and are a reasonable healthy. They all stay in Dumfries where quite a number of healthy 20/30 year olds are now being offered the vaccine.

They are lucky still not at 50-55s in South Ayrshire bar underlying health problems

It maybe he’s something to do with their doctors, they’re all at the same practice. My brother who is 55 is with a different practice hasn’t been offered his yet and he stays in Dumfries as well.

They should try using the Tanner Fund money on offer. That might just persuade one or two players to stick around for another season. Thought that was the whole idea of it..?

Tanner Fund update on 01/02/21 said that they had discussions with the board about using the fund for funds or wages and the board have asked them to hold on to it until they rebuild for next season.

You’d think that suggests using some of it to keep hold of some of the players we have for next season.
