I never feel comfortable when supporters talk their teams down as much as the Queen's fans are here. I'll take a 2-0 and no injuries before the final with Ginnelly hopefully getting a run out.
Don't worry, you'll feel pretty comfortable 10 minutes into the game. You'll see why we're all talking our team down.

Reading the back page of today's standard it's Disappointing that AJ seems to be putting Friday nights defeat down to the young players blaming them for running out of ideas... That's a great motivation technique, Atleast that ment they had ideas to start with unlike Him....
Obviously he doesn't think his team can recover from going two goals down either saying "the game was over" when they lost the second goal despite still having almost half the game left to play, Is that because he doesn't have the ability to change things on the pitch?
C'mon Billy do everybody a favour its time for AJ to GO....
I came on to post something similar after reading that in today's paper. Unbelievable, can't believe he has the nerve to point the finger at anyone about running out of ideas. Pretty shitty from him using the younger players to once again take the blame away from himself. Sooner he gets to f*ck the better.

This game gives me the fear. 5-0 Hearts.

Would the budgets between ICT and ourselves be too different if you take the money we got* for Lyndon into account?
*If we've received it yet. And obviously if we were given it all to spend on players of course.

My only trip to Inverness following Queens was around 94/95 and we lost 1-0 to a late goal ( was it an OG)?
I remember the Queens fans sang the wheelbarrow song for the entire second half. Still not sure why.
I’m struggling to remember if I’ve ever seen Queens beat ICT. Although I did win the HT draw at an ICT game about 3 years ago ( we lost that one 2-0).
I fair enjoyed that chant.

I'm sure that they would, right now. In the most financially uncertain time, possibly in the club's history, they absolutely will grudge paying for stewards with no chance of making that back. They'll do it, but they won't like it.
Fair enough.
How many stewards would we need for 300 fans?

Hopefully Dumfries will get to Tier 1 soon .
It would be great to be back at Palmerston but would it actually cost Queens money only having 300 season ticket holders at the game .
Queens will have the added cost of more stewards etc with no actual money coming in.
Okay it is in England but only 30 odd miles away Carlisle are being allowed 2000 fans in a decent amount against Salford on Wednesday
I'm sure the club wouldn't grudge paying for stewards if and when we're allowed fans back in. Even if it is only 300.

Is McMahon a typo? I haven't a clue who that is and can't see it on our squad page. McKechnie?
Young Dom. Was with our reserves last year and was loaned out I think.

I don't see how that would be justified either.
Messi is clearly at it a bit, enjoying some sport at our expense, but that's one of the chief purposes of this place.
I've no idea how that lands anyone a ban. I'd have thought that required personal abuse, threatening behaviour or something like racism.
It seems a bit ridiculous if it can happen for slagging off a football team. I'm not sure how many posters will be left if that's going to earn a ban for everyone who does it.
That's a fair point. The only thing that was annoying was how repetitive it was. But I agree being annoying and not actually abusing or threatening anyone doesn't warrant a ban. It is easy to ignore but not so much after you've read the same noncense 10 times.

So in this instance the poster is fairly unfortunate that one of the mods is a QoTS fan?
No.
If he was posting the same drivel on other teams forums then another mod would have kicked him out.

The Club Shop is open today and the office staffed. Phone, email or call in there instead of asking sales questions on a website perhaps?
The tops are available to order on the website in the sizes they are available in though. They don't come in "ages".
I phoned and there was no answer. I stay too far away to go into the shop, thought maybe I was missing something and seeing as some people on this website work within the club and regular posters have helped others with queries about the shop in the past I thought maybe someone would be polite* enough to help. Obviously that person isn't you*.
I know they don't come in ages, if I said a small then someone would have just said you can order a small on the online store! It was to make it obvious it was for a child and that I couldn't find an option for kids sizes on the online store. Jeez!
ETA - if I want to ask a sales question about the club shop on a forum about the club, then I will wether you complain about it or not.

Trying to order the pink NHS top for aged 4/5 years but can't find the option for that size. Is the top available in that size? And can I order it? If not then is the home and away top available in that size to order? Can't find the option for those either.
Still having bother trying to order a top if anyone can help? Would be really appreciated as it's for a birthday present.

They're dreadful. It's not about defending them. We could have peak Puyol and Pique at CB and we'd still be conceding these goals. Poor marking at corners isn't entirely down to the CB's. Everyone needs to take responsibility for basic defensive duties.
True but 2 of the goals were the CB's fault so "peak Puyol and Pique at CB" more than likely would have prevented the 2 goals.
My original post wasn't about corners in the first place. It was about SD constantly defending Buchanan when he's absolutely shite.

Why did Buchanan go off did he have a injury or just very poor again .
He has been my biggest disappointment really thought we had got a really good centre back.
Fans of clubs he had been at said he was poor they are now being proved right he just does not defend always blaming others for his mistakes .
Wouldn't be a bad thing if he was injured. Surely then we'd bring in a free agent to slot in at the back.
I think Buchanan is dreadful but wouldn't wish him to get an injury. It would just twist the manager and boards arm a bit to get someone else in.

1st gaol Buchanan loses his man at back post 3rd goal Buchanan & Obileye lose both their men at the corner and they combine to score...
Yet still some fans are defending them. Utterly atrocious pair of centre halves.

Can't wait to read the excuses this week. Surely it's impossible to defend that shite?

It's really sad that in probably Dobbies last season he has to play with shite like Buchanan.

We're away to Dunfermline on Saturday. I think you can probably safely say the loans window in practice ends on Friday.
What has that got to do with anything? Other clubs have announced loans signings today and they have a game today as well.

Absolutely reckless management to have ended up with a defence consisting of 2 CBs, an 18 year old left back, a RB who by his own admission prefers to play in midfield, and Wullie Gibson.
With no real midfield enforcers on the books either I fully expect scorelines like last week to be a regular occurrence.
You might as well relegate us now.
Surely the money for Lyndon could have stretched for at least 1 more loan signing? Preferably a defender.
