I actually think there is one man who will make the difference between queens struggling this year or actually challenging at the top and is the biggest reason why we have not done anything about signing any players . There will be hundreds of players available and rushing to sign them are foolish as we know our budget will be one of lowest in league. So as I said one man will make the difference.
That man is LYNDON DYKES if he is sold it will be worth anywhere £150-350k to queens and that would allowed us to bring 4-6 decent playersWhy do you think we could get anywhere near £350k?

"SPFL clubs will be allowed to sign a maximum of six players on loan this season. "
Hope we make good use of this.

Just as well your not then!
But the part you've quoted is right. I don't know why any of us would want any of last seasons squad back (except Dobbie.)

The Dumfries born fan living in America purchasing a season ticket is possibly his way of donating money to the club he supports although being thousands of miles away.
Yeah you're probably right. He did word it like he thought the season ticket would give him access to all the live home games so just wanted to double check before I purchase one myself.

Thanks for clearing that up. I might just purchase mine and if I only get a handful of games out of it then so be it.
Out of interest, what would the demand need to be for us to continue streaming all season?

As far as anyone knows, at the moment, the live streams will only be for games that are behind closed doors.
Thanks.
I seen a fan who stays in America has already bought a season ticket to watch the games on the live stream. So if only 3 or 4 games are behind closed doors - that means he's paid £210 to watch only those games?

If I purchase a season ticket will I have access to all 13/14 games on the live stream?

Longridge released by Falkirk, Higginbottom looking for a club after his 1 year contract finished in Kashmir and Ashcroft a free agent.
Not quite down the pan as you thought
So 3 players to make up the bulk of our squad? Like you said.
Still down the pan.

When I said AJ’ ex Dunfermline players I meant players who played for him but are now free agents.
Ashcroft, Longridge, Craigen, Higginbottom.
1 minute ago, Chubbychops said:Only Ashcroft doesn't have a club from that lot. Longridge at Falkirk, Craigen just signed a 3 year deal with Arbroath and Higgy is playing in Kashmir of all places.
Anyone else?
Because it looks like your theory is down the pan.

You made the assumption they wouldn’t you tell me.
if you want to play silly buggers about it
For starters, most of them aren't at Dunfermline anymore.

Because they are not good enough or asking for too much money?
or both?
You tell me, you're the one who made the assumption. Which ex Dunfermline players who played under AJ do you think will come and "make up the bulk" of next season's squad?

I am sure some of the managers ex Dunfermline players out of work will make up the bulk of this seasons squad.
I very much doubt that.

Are we the only team in the division yet to sign anyone for the new season?

Yep, the likes of Threave, Saints and Vale or anyone else won't get near them again.

Any club paying cash to play in that league need to have a look at themselves .
By the sounds of it they've paid a lot of cash to 3 of the boys. A lot of cash to blow on players who generally spend most of the season suspended.

A lot of signings over the last couple of days.
Anyone know anything about the Sunday league boys?

A Johnston QoS has been furloughed not sure of a return date, maybe he is back now?
I don't think Johnston will be back before August.

Meh. The Stirling Albion performances aside he never really stood out in games tbh other than his incredible pace. Even without his injury I doubt he would have been a regular at this level.
Fair enough. The beauty of football forums is different opinions.

His sides after leaving us speaks volumes though and the reality is he wasn't very good. A nice lad all the same.
His sides after leaving us was down to him concentrating on his bachelors degree. It was more a case of part-time football or no football whilst studying.
You may think he wasn't very good but before his injury he was very exciting to watch.

Just read that It was away to Stirling Albion. I was adamant it happened it Palmerston though. He cracked part of his femur and also damaged ligaments.

My recall is that Orsi had a knee ligament injury rather than broke his leg. I’m not aware that anyone “snapped him”.I can vaguely remember him getting tackled down by the corner flag and ending up getting carried off in a stretcher. Now you mention the ligament injury it does ring a bell but I'm pretty sure it was caused by a bad tackle, or maybe done his ligaments after landing funny.
Against Livi maybe?
