Meant to bring this up, er, three months ago but at Christmas I was listening to the Off the Ball best-of-2023 programme (yes, there really was one). The had clips from a programme where KMaC and his brother were guests. Tam seemed over-eager to defend KMaC from complaints about a Rangers supporter presenting Sportsound. That of course, isn't the complaint most of us would make. For me there are two 1) Too much attention to the Old Firm (not the same thing as moaning about an OF-supporting presenter. That's inevitable, and supporting an Ugly doesn't necessarily mean your presenting will be biased) 2) Tabloidy, Radio Clydey, shouty, confrontation-encouraging presenting style. Nae athletics stadium. Or could we be silly and have indoors athletics? It would be great but the athletics issue is a deal-breaker. I went to one of the World Indoors Athletics sessions at the Emirates in March. On the walk from Dalmarnock Station it was grim - litter-encrusted verges and hedgerows, wasteground left over from the 2014 works, graffiti everywhere, even on road signs, general signs of grubbiness and neglect. Do we really want to show ourselves off when we're such a mess?

That's certainly true. Last couple of matches I've been at I should have been surrounded by people (going by the wee map on the ticket site), and I wasn't.

I never stay up for election night programmes (they're boring) but from what I've seen, Portillo responded to his defeat with grace and humour - and I didn't like him then and I don't like him now.
