Yet still kept the honour on to the next tee. Bogeys all round for the group.

I expect the outcome will be similar to when we played the rampant Dunfermline towards the end of last season. I’ll go with 5-0 Falkirk.

Noblehill 1 for me, all day long. I’d be getting that bought in an instant.

The West Indies played there in the 80's.
It's a cracking ground to play on, not so much if you are a bowler.
They’ve got 4 hybrid decks now as well, so it’s even more of a batters deck. Don’t think the hybrids can be used in international cricket yet, though.

Another horrendous result for Scotland, yet again losing comfortably to Canada.
Middle of both innings absolute destroyed us. Top 4 all got starts but none went on, then the middle order contributed nothing, with only the last wicket pair of Brad Wheal and Brad Currie getting the score up to something that might have been defendable. Started the defence pretty well with the 2 Brads opening the bowling, Canada were 34-4. The next pair put on over 100 though, and then the last pair another 50+ to see Canada done with plenty time and wickets to spare.
Another disappointing one, but have to give credit to Canada, who look pretty decent.

I got quite a few reminders when my last fixed term was coming to an end, starting from 6 months before it finished as I could take a new deal from my existing lender at any point in the last 6 months of the fix.

I am not entirely sure as we haven’t received the documents through yet. I’m just basing the figure on what the bank had sent us back in January time about what our repayments would go up by. I think they do that on the basis we just carry on automatically.
That’ll be the standard variable rate. I’d definitely be avoiding going on to that.

I don’t know about the change in variable rates but your second part is what I’m thinking ie how much extra will I pay a month and what will the interest rates go down to and when. If they even go down.
2 years fixed at 4.04% might be a better shout but who knows where the world will Have taken us by then?
Are you comparing fixed with the standard variable rate, or are you comparing it against an equivalent length tracker deal? Surprised the gap is quite as big if it’s the latter.

A few Scotland things over the last few days.
Firstly, the men bounced back from their defeat against Canada to convincingly defeat the hosts, UAE, by 8 wickets. Charlie Tear made in beaten 56 in the chase on his debut.
Cricket Scotland have appointed Doug Watson as the permanent head coach. He was in temporary charge last summer and will take up the role once again in April after the conclusion of his contract with Auckland.
And finally, details of the next World Cup League 2 series have been confirmed. Forfarshire’s Forthill ground in Broughty Ferry will host the series against Namibia and Oman on May, with Oman hanging around for a T20 at the same venue 2 days after the last ODI. Think I’ll try and get along to one or two of these games, it’s just along the road for me and a ground I quite like (mainly because I took a 5-for the only time I’ve played there, albeit at a very very low standard of the game!).

We went to the youth club
And we looked out of place
I didn't know where to look
So I looked at your faceBut you were a boxing champ
And I was a weakling
You didn't give me a chance
You gave me a beating
And I thank you very much that you did0 -

I’m looking forward to not watching us for the first time in a month. Away win.

I’m moving house in 3 weeks, and my new garden is all of a sudden scaring the shit out of me. I designed my current garden to be really low maintenance, a wee bit of grass and then a few flower pots and that’s it. My new garden must have close to 50m of planted borders, so I’m going to have to learn fast how to maintain them. Loads of grass as well, but the sellers are leaving us their ride on lawn mower, so that’ll be easy enough. The plants worry me, though.

Scotland make 215/8 against Canada in Dubai after having been put in to bat. Could have been more, could have been less. It looks to be about par, considering the scores in the UAE v Canada game the other day.
3 ODI debuts for Scotland today, Scott and Brad Currie make their ODI debuts together (Brad has played T20s), and Andy Umeed also makes his ODI debut, having only represented Scotland in first class cricket in the old intercontinental cup against Afghanistan in 2015 previously.
It was a long way under par. Canada win by 7 wickets with 9 overs and 3 balls remaining.
That’s a bad one.

Ireland currently 8-2 after 2 overs in the fourth innings against Afghanistan in their one off test, chasing 110 to win. Naveed is on a hat-trick.

According to the latest confirmation statement, and assuming I’ve managed to count roughly accurately, somewhere around 80.

Means that Bartley will be going absolutely nowhere until at least the summer, you’ve got to think.
