  1. Maybe I've picked it up wrong then. I've done a bit of searching but reading this it suggests that there would be no current way a person vaccinated outwith Scotland could attend these venues. Covid passports: How do I get one and when will I need it? - BBC News While it says they are looking at possible solutions, I can't see anything that states they will accept any proof from people vaccinated outside Scotland, prior to anything further being announced.
  2. Who determines what is an acceptable reason to travel to a different country for if there is no ban on actually travelling there? I'm sure many of us have attended sporting events and nightclubs when visiting a different country. I'd wager they are two very popular attractions for a lot of travellers. If travelling is not banned, then what does it matter? If they are double vaccinated, they should be able to do the same things that every other person is allowed to do if they were double vaccinated in Scotland. You also overlook the fact that a large contingent of fans from Ireland/NI travel to Scotland each week to attend matches. Additionally, it's not just football venues. For example, there will likely be thousands of students who come to Scotland for further education who will now be excluded from attending nightclubs during what are normally some of the best years of people's lives. I am finding faults because this measure is wholly disproportionate. Banning people from gaining a Covid passport just because they received their identical double vaccination in a different part of the UK is ridiculous. As far as your last sentence goes, I'm not sure why it is relevant. My point was always about those who have been double vaccinated and I have received both myself.
  3. I see that the vaccine passports are also only available to those who have been vaccinated in Scotland. So if you're from another part of the UK, or you have now moved to Scotland, despite having received the EXACT same vaccines as us, then you cannot attend these venues in Scotland. Tell me again how this is designed to reduce the spread?
  4. Maybe he thought speaking kindly of a club legend was a sure fire way to endear himself to the fans.
  5. I see there is now confirmation that booster shots of the covid vaccine will be offered this winter. I wonder if your covid passports will expire if you choose not to get a booster jab down the line if it gets offered to everyone.
  6. I don't think the SPFL would allow the exclusion of away fans simply to accommodate more home fans. However, I imagine Rangers have done a Celtic and are manipulating the fact that they need to move season ticket holders to use it as an excuse to achieve the same result. Poor show. I'd hope they at least allow PPV.
  7. Some disturbing/tragic rumours going around about Ciaran Dickson on Twitter right now that he has apparently killed an 18 year old whilst drink driving at the weekend. I’ve no idea how accurate or not the rumours are but seems to be getting quite a bit of traction but I’d always take these things with a pinch of salt until anything concrete comes out.
  8. There was no punch. He ran in and pushed Craig on the arm/shoulder and he folded.
  9. That’s kind of my point though. It looked like they’d been stuffed in a cupboard, what could they have realistically added? It didn’t seem like there was any room for a table and with it being glass behind them I doubt they could add any fixtures anywhere.
  10. To be fair, wouldn’t it be Hearts’ responsibility to arrange their studio space? I’m not sure Sky would have much say in the matter other than bringing whatever equipment they need.
  11. Hard to say about the Trial By Twitter message without being at the match but the anti-police and anti-SFA messages have been prominent for years and are definitely widespread.
  12. I had to watch the first few minutes of the match on the Sky Go app and it seemed like there was a definite sound difference compared to when I put it on the TV. It seems like the TV sound has been dampened in comparison for some reason.
  13. I don’t think it’s been that bad. It’s being played at a relatively quick pace. Hearts having slightly edged it as already said but Hibs seem to get into space a lot better. Hearts breakdown a lot when they get anywhere near the Hibs goal.
  14. Clear as day. Even if he did think it was a corner and has then blew for half time, that is still one of my pet hates. Maybe correct per the laws but just doesn’t feel right.
  15. Mackay-Steven offers absolutely nothing 99% of the time but always capable of a moment of quality. You just need to wonder at what stage does he get viewed as a passenger.
  16. Seemed like an excellent match going by the Sportscene highlights. A bit of a battle about it with moments of good attacking further highlighted by some shocking defending. Game could’ve been very different though, from the highlights alone Kelly seemed to fumble or palm down at least 3 shots into dangerous areas. Lucky Aberdeen never capitalised.
  17. 100% agree. As you say, every team needs someone like that to mix things up. By it’s nature the role brings added scrutiny so for every time it works out you’ll get the occasion where folk point and laugh.
  18. Oh aye, no doubting it’s a legitimate tactic given his propensity for chaos, it just made Craig look a rather silly when it didn’t work. I think it would’ve been rather harsh to send anyone off during the incident - I think the ref got it just about right, in fairness. I’m under no illusions that Morelos is a saint on the pitch, but that doesn’t mean what Craig done wasn’t embarrassing. I reckon he’d have hit the deck like that regardless of who steamed in.
  19. A recording doing the rounds of Charlie Mulgrew talking about McKay. Not sure how reliably informed he is but basically saying McKay was punted because he had a disagreement with Bankier and the Celtic board. McKay wanted more signings in, but Bankier said they’d spent enough in one window. This was during the Juranovic discussions and the deal was going to get dropped. McKay apparently went ahead with the deal anyway without telling Bankier. Bankier went tonto and informed Desmond who in turn, invited McKay to a meeting in London where he made it clear he answers to Bankier and Bankier answers to Desmond. Apparently at this point McKay said he’d had enough and told them to eff the job.
  20. Caught another look at the aftermath of the penalty - Liam Craig is embarrassing
