St Johnstone started the better of the two teams and I don’t think many would’ve complained if Hendry had found a way past McLaughlin. But as soon as Barisic scored the opener Rangers looked comfortable without playing particularly great. As mentioned above, Barisic and Kamara the pick of the bunch. Hagi is getting in the right positions but his control is letting him down at times and needs to do better but that’ll come.

A fairly drab match which I think will be quite common this season as long as the fans aren’t there. Doidge took his goal excellently and Hibs seemed relatively comfortable from there.

Agreed. And if (it’s a big if) we win our next 3 matches, we would be 11 points clear of Celtic before they travel to face Dundee Utd. Big test of character for the squad with an opportunity to apply some early pressure.

I'm assuming he means it would apply to Celtic if the Scottish Government/SPFL prevent them from playing the tie. That is extremely unlikely though in my opinion.

I’ll say it again in case you missed (or ignored) what I said before - I don’t particularly feel this is to do with the team Morelos represents. You’re (probably deliberately) misinterpreting what I’m saying.

I’d quite like Kamara or Jack sacrificed to bring in a more creative player in midfield. I feel this game may be similar to the St Mirren match and it just seemed a bit safe playing both of them together. Of course, they dominate most midfields in this system but I’d prefer swapping it up every now and then to give us more attack power.

I appreciate the examples you’ve given, but my (initial) comments around the Edouard incident was regarding the coverage provided by Sportscene, with the thread being specifically focused on that. And it is Sportscene that my gripe is mainly aimed at - they have been some of the worst offenders at being “selective” in what they choose to highlight. My main question is this: if Morelos had done what Edouard did, do you think it would’ve been glossed over like it was? If your answer is no, then you appreciate where I’m coming from. If your answer is yes, then I think we should respectfully agree to disagree.
