    I think the circumstances would need to be absolutely perfect for a team other than Celtic or Rangers to win a title. They are at an immediate disadvantage financially so they need to have the perfect mix of coaching, management and players that I think is almost impossible to get.

    I’m hoping Rangers can be more creative in breaking a team down today. We were very unconvincing at home v St Mirren in January and it seems to have become a bad habit where we struggle to break teams down. I think we’ll win but I certainly don’t believe it’ll be as comfortable as some may think.

    No real surprises from Rangers here. Balogun comes back in after a solid debut at Aberdeen and McLaughlin replaces McGregor who has a knock.

    Edouard has built his hype on more than 1 performance against Hamilton. If Celtic bring in either of the players linked, they’ll believe they have more than enough fire power to compete on all fronts. As good as Griffiths is, you can only stand by him so many times before cutting your losses and moving him on. By criticising and leaving him behind from the pre-season tour I get the impression Lennon has had enough.

    It’s not what I hope, it’s what I think Celtic will want. Whether Griffiths is playing well won’t change things much if Edouard keeps on doing what he is doing.

    I think if bringing in either of these strikers means they can offload Griffiths then Celtic will jump at the opportunity. If you believe what the papers say this morning, that’s another telling off he has received from the club after hosting a party.

    I’ll also add that I’ve used the Edge web browser on my Xbox to watch the matches so far the stream has worked perfect, however I know some people have mentioned they’ve had issues if trying to use Safari - just to be aware.

    It’s just been amusing watching Celtic fans over the last few days doing complete 180s. A week ago they said Morelos was useless. Then when we sign two new strikers they make it out as if we will be worse off when we lose our talisman Morelos. Make up your minds.

    Well that’s a simple way to look at it, yes. The disparity in resources between the two teams will mean Celtic will always be able to attract (and retain) higher quality players.

    Leverkusen a cut above but what a European campaign it’s been, which started nearly 400 days ago. Punched above our weight and delivered some excellent results. Scotland will have 2 champions league teams from next season too.
