How will it make the impact look any better? The NHS will still have to take extra precautions with Covid positive patients to avoid staff catching the virus etc. I'm guessing this will have an impact on available space in wards which have to be set aside for positive patients. It will make the figures look better and possibly allow further restriction easing but won't make any difference to the NHS.

I've worked with some people that I genuinely believe would have no idea what to do with their time if they weren't working. The kind of people that work practically all their waking hours. Absolute crackpots.

I know a few people the invested in their equity for punks nonsense. When I asked them why they were investing in something that’ll never make money for them none of them could reply. When I pointed out that they’re basically handing over money to the owners for nothing there was silence all round. Saw them on Facebook up in Aberdeen at the AGM or whatever the other day so they’re still at it. It’s like a religious cult.

It was always the case that you needed the second shot to be fully vaccinated. The second jag strengthens both the effectiveness and longevity of protection. It did need less strengthening prior to the Indian variant though. The first shot worked roughly twice as well on prior variants.
