  1. A club like ours shouldn’t be picking up less, in my opinion.
  2. I think considering the way our league form has been this season and where we currently sit maximum points from the next three games is a must. Not only to improve fortunes on the pitch but hopefully give the supporters a bit of a boost as things haven’t been too good thus far.
  3. I agree with you on the youngsters, Euan and Jack. Of the players Gormley has brought in only really Craig Gordon, Dylan Mackin & Blair MacIntyre have stood out for me as excellent business. Robbie Torrance has been good when played and is a much better bet than the head case Boland. Mark Millar can be an asset when played in his natural position but for some reason has been stuck at the back more often than not where he’s been pretty poor. Kevin Nicoll reminds me of watching Bambi when I was young. Hard to understand why young MacCalman wasn’t given a chance considering the mess our defence is in.
  4. It does look that way in some instances. Sticking by players when the are obviously not good enough. Very rarely does he get stuck into the more senior players when things go wrong but let’s loose at the youngsters.
  5. We also need consistency. I don’t think the Manager has played the same team twice yet! Aside from the ridiculous defending I really didn’t understand what system was attempted this evening. Collins at Left Back? I’m worried about Wednesday already.
  6. How long is this going to go on? Six goals conceded at home (again!), five a few weeks ago which surely tells the management where the problems lie. Both centre-halfs poor with Kevin Nicoll shading being the worst on the park. I honestly don’t think he knows what he’s doing with the ball the majority of the time. So clumsy and reckless. This needs to be sorted quickly.
  7. I must have missed something here… What’s going on?
  8. Young Jack was superb and took his hat-trick like a player fifteen years older! The future looks bright with so many youngsters involved this afternoon. Chris Millar caught out so many times again and seems very quick to criticise others. Hardly a word of encouragement from our Captain until he went off injured (again) with TC doing most of the assistance and instruction on the pitch. Obviously an excellent player in the past but he seems too injury prone and liable to a good few mistakes now.
  9. A brilliant performance with a few players missing. Disappointing to lose two goals but I can’t complain too much after witnessing four great goals from us and sticking it to the neighbours.
  10. I know that he had a go back Andy someone in the stand against Glenafton. Never good when that happens.
  11. A wee dig at the supporters in his post-match interview?
  12. The ‘big’ team were at home today so that knackers any chance of a large crowd, unfortunately. A lack of promotion doesn’t help. Still maintain that we lost a bit of a spark after the delay but agree with your comments.
  13. We were on top when the referee stopped the game for five or so minutes due to an issue with one of the nets. After that it took us a while to get back up to steam. It isn’t the first time the same net has stopped the match.
  14. The issue with the net can’t keep interrupting games. That’s at least three occasions where play has had to be halted because of a daft problem. It totally killed the momentum we built up in the first half this afternoon.
  15. The referee was absolutely hopeless and not for the first time this season, The Buffs got better once Chris Millar went off.
