Rugby Park lusts for the blood of Rangers left wingers and I can’t wait ‘til astroturf fucks off out of the league.
If Jack is properly fit, I think we’re more likely to see Lawrence on the left, allowing for a rotation of MacAusland/Sterling on the right, and Silva or Roofe to come in for Dessers up front. You pair Jack with Lundstram, push Diomande up higher?

Haha, well he will be 33 this year and has lost some of his pace so I imagine it won't be too long before we need to consider a replacement.
We’re sitting Sterling down with a laptop, Roberto Baggio’s Magical Kicks and a ten year contract deal.

Where's he off to!?
Germany with the rest of the England squad?
SpoilerThis is obviously a joke and I don’t honestly believe it will happen.

The slander that the Luchadore Loyal are suffering in this thread.
Club try to reach out to new fan communities and this is what happens.

Diomande won't be here long.
We kept Kamara longer than anyone thought, hopefully we get 2 1/2 seasons out of him.

What’s wrong with big Shanks the day?
Doubled up on with f**k all service I think, even with that he’s managed a decent effort and a header against the post.

“Right, keep it tight first ten minutes, make it difficult for them. Maybe we can nick something and get the crowd on their backs”
…

Need to get some of the first XI off and keep them fresh.
Ridvan has been incredible on that left hand side. Player of the match so far for me.

I’m surprised nobody is saying anything about Smith being wiped out early in the second half.
It’s ‘cos it wasn’t a penalty.
With Diomande, Lundstram and Cantwell playing well, Sterling might well become the answer to the question ‘how do you replace Daniel Candeias’. Pity he couldn’t sort his feet for the chance later on, deserves a goal for the shift he puts in and the opportunity he’s seizing.
Referee could do with reminding that there’s no minimum number of fouls before pulling out his cards, and letting players rollover 7 or 8 in midfield is not a normal part of the game.

Never been to Ibrox before, where's best to park?
Prestwick.
Think we’ll see two from the youth team start tomorrow, there’s enough experience in even a rotated first XI that getting games into the likes of Yfeko and Rice will be key.

The reason that this mess started was panicked PR management and statement tennis, how have they not learnt anything?

Don’t know what Goldson has done to upset Simon Murray so much, but the ref might want to do something about it in the second half.

Was a great spot and take from Tav, lined it up like a free kick. Think he’s been coming more central with the ball recently?
Was interesting to see Roofe give away a free kick it’s apparently impossible for refs to grant just before as well.

I can't think of a season where the arse cheeks have regressed more over the summer than this one though. Both spend a fortune, bot look fucking shite.
It’s a rotated first XI with Wednesday in mind, and with forwards getting up to proper fitness and match sharpness. Wouldn’t read too much into it overall, though the system seems more direct and less reliant on the full backs to move the ball up the pitch?

Amazing people are happy to post this kind of stuff

Is this the thread to come in and say ‘Hibs are shite, their squad isn’t up to much; they’ll never get a result?”.
Never been on the other side of wanting to see clubs doing well in Europe and that seems to be the lucky mantra that gets posted in the Rangers one before each game?

I hope he does well. Clearly a tidy and quality player in there, some of his close control in the first Euro run was on a different planet at times.

Jesus did a lot of posturing on a cross for sure.
What a hill both clubs are dying on here with the “oldest and best derby in the world” making it incredibly difficult for away fans to attend. It is all quite sad.
Regarding safety issues it does my head in that with all the CCTV in place that teams like St Mirren and Hearts have to put certain areas as off limits.
Last night the banners below the Rosenberg fans even had the audacity to display adverts for the security company. Why not just do your job? Use the technology to root the trouble makers out and jail any cnuts that throw objects endangering players or supporters.
They always tout the pound and pence CCTV investment and every picture looks like they blew the money on a vintage game boy camera and printer.

Someone needs to have a word with Ryan Jack and get him to give up his shirt number.
His doctor probably, can’t see him staying past the end of his contract now, and there’s a reason it was a years extension.

We are apparently interested in FC Steaua Bucharest* winger Octavian Popescu as an attacking option. £2.5m? Though he’s been touted wider and for more and not got any concrete bids.
Never heard of him, 20 years old, would require protracted transfer dealing with Gigi Becali, ‘hurr are they gonna block out his name on the shirt’ banter opportunities.
Can’t see what could go wrong.
*technically just FCSB ‘cos they lost the rights but we all know.

More first aiders?

Given that both grounds have got extensive CCTV, and that even with a good arm, you’re looking at 4000? people who could reasonably throw anything, I’d rather just see bans than nets tbh.

Jinky you’re trying to create an expectation of reciprocity in ticketing obligation where none exists. As far as the league are concerned, each game is a separate element. Ticketing agreements for Game 1 have no impact on Game 25.
Rangers have offered tickets to Celtic for the game at Ibrox, as they are obliged to. Celtic have refused them, as is their right.
Celtic should offer tickets to Rangers for the game at Parkhead, as they are obliged to. Rangers can accept them, as is their right.

I wonder under what provision the lockout could extend to Celtic Park if Rangers have already indicated that they intend to take their away allocation?
I guess if it takes longer than that for the SPFL to make a decision. Which I could see them doing, allowing for both sides to have a ‘fair’ game and then cracking down on both to sort their shit out.

Raskin and Cifuentes as the two with four from Danilo/Sima/Cantwell/Dessers and Lammers?
Could see Hagi being useful later on as well, he’s made for European games with that extra second of space and need for control on the ball. Dunno if he’s in the match day squad mind.

Rangers v Motherwell: Sat 3pm
in Scottish Premiership General Chatter

Took that game in the way God intended, watching a constantly buffering stream in a soft play cafe.
Didn’t realise that stop start stop start would transfer magically to the players though.
Can’t make a habit of going behind and storming back in front, especially against Motherwell at home, consistently a difficult team to break down, consistently a tricky hurdle going back to Gerrard.
Sour grapes and all but the referees are shite and we’re now down another player in a key position. Can’t wait for the apology, will do us the world of good.
Think Clement and Koppen will be making the search for a straight Goldson replacement the number one priority this summer. When he’s on, he’s great, but too many brain farts now.
Reliant on that shite doner pie fuelling a Shankland hat trick.
