  1. Seems he changed his surname a few years back according to one of the articles. Maybe it's one of those motivational boy named sue things.
  2. With Campbell gone everyone can have a go on the machines now.
  3. Once a game Stephen O'donnell decides to press the furthest back opposition player, and I fucking love it. His heat seeking run to foul Grealish was glorious. It will take a record fee to prize our under contract European superstar from fir park. But we might do it for 200k and a sell on.
  4. Chris Maguire, Jamie Ness, Juanma, Ali Crawford, Tam Scobbie, Kyle Lafferty, Scott McDonald, Gboly Ariyibi, some Livingston guy. Just writing names and seeing what gets on twitter.
  5. I'll be honest, I saw that on Twitter and spent a few minutes trying to figure out if it was a yerdaz elzavon situation.
  6. All motherwell players are either really good or total shite. I'll go with Sherwin Seedorf or Jake Hastie.
  7. Looking forward to the squad training photos detective work. #enhance
  8. Excellent. Strikes me as someone who is frequently deafened by silence. He will also be the first to be underwhelmed by our next signing announcement.
  9. Oh, that's right, forgot about those, they didn't last too long. You can find it on the usual apps now. It's pretty good, but they don't spend enough time talking about which players to bin or sacking the manager to be considered an authentic motherwell fan experience.
  10. It's been pretty consistent, some of the panelists changed, but they bring out a new one every couple of weeks.
  11. Braun Strowman released by WWE. Worth a punt? Pretty agile for a big man.
  12. Kelly and Robert's hopefully “We not only remain in positive discussions with some of our players but also with a number of clubs in relation to one or two players we had on loan, with a view to doing something. But these things take some time."
  13. I change my mind on Long multiple times during a match. I think we should keep him for his motivational skills.
  14. We were near the top of the form league from when Alexander came in, so maybe he's going for continuity....... We know that Gallagher, Polworth and Chapman are definitely off. Dunne staying would be a surprise, but Alexander likes his character, so maybe there's that. Seedorf is injured, so it's possible we're going through the same process as tanner and dunne with him.
  15. Foyle leaving us to spend more time with players from Northampton is logical.
  16. I assume the slowness of getting "the list" out is that the media team are making a top notch video announcement akin to the Euro squad announcements.
  17. I'm just going to pretend he's calling us all daft dicks and that he wore an Airdrie top under his Motherwell shirt every game, makes it easier.
  18. I have a feeling we're going to end up with more Hastie. I don't like that feeling. Fair play to him for capitalizing on that good couple of months.
  19. Weird watching a game with nothing on the line for us. I slept in and missed our goal, then for the rest of the game I was mainly worried about that scaffolding falling down, and wondering if those pictures at the ends of the east stand will end up peeling off. Disappointing that we couldn't make the relegation saga more interesting, but it was nice to not be part of it. What a weird season that was. Time to pretend I don't care about football for a few weeks then get silly optimistic after our first signing. Shame that Chapman didn't get to say goodbye, as when all is said and done, this was his season.
  20. The turnbull one seems a bit premature. Hopefully he goes on to great things, but at this point we're celebrating a transfer fee, which is lame. Overall mural looks nice though.
  21. Watt does a lot of simple things very well, and has excellent work rate to add to it. He changed the game yesterday because he makes the ball stick and allows us to build an attack, and is unselfish. I like Cole, and Long to an extent, but both have a tendency to lose possession too often, with Coles poor first touch and trying to run through everyone, and Long shooting from anywhere. I think the front 3 of Cole, Watt and Roberts worked well because two of those 3 can hold the ball, allowing Cole to get the ball in more dangerous positions. It is feasible that we could end up going into next season with the same 4, assuming hearts let Roberts go, or it could be Watt and 3 or 4 unknowns. Personally, I'm ready for the uproar if Long is our next signing for 21/22. In an unrelated note, Lamie has been decent. Oh, and I'll most likely be at games in person from the start of the season as I'll no longer be an exile from the shire, which is nice.
  22. I'd like to call it either the Kai Nyssonen stand, or the Van Der Gaag's Goal Wasn't a Free Kick Stand, based on the 2 times I've been in it.
