    They want to change the fit note situation, they are alleging that GPs are repeating notes without speaking to people.

    Lets be honest, its just (yet) another howl into the abyss from a party struggling for relevance and who will soon be consigned to the shitcan of history.

    Anyone sensible wanted this settled - and if that means person(s) are charged and can then defend them in court - then thats the correct outcome.

    Talking of the League Cup group stages, it reminds me of the last time we were in that, first home match it was roasting - me and a mate had been for a few beers, sunnies on and getting burnt in the East.

    We subbed on Bojang and after 30 seconds we looked at each other and went "this guy must have won a prize draw to play". 

    Of course that period also ended with the signed/not signed/ mistake with Rockys registration and being penalised in the LC group as he played when suspended 😆.

    Is hoping for a less shambolic summer too much to ask?

    You are not wrong, and tbh its my guess that the SFA knew this was the case but couldnt acknowledge it.

    All this does is confirm what we all knew.

    In better news, due to holidays I wont see us again this season.

    Tories on the radio this morning saying that they think that "education and tax" are a way to deter young people from smoking - as opposed to Sunaks* idea of making it illegal to sell fags to people under a certain age.

    I wonder if any of those who walk into the other lobby are in the pockets of Big Tobacco?

    What city you talking? There are some in the states id happily live in, Nashville, Savannah, Austin, San Clemente or Utah as a whole. But some like Miami, Tampa, DC, San Diego, Memphis, Houston, Atlanta and St Louis etc you couldnt pay me enough to live in. 

    We have neighbours from the US (renting, she is doing a Masters degree here) and their son just applied to be a Chicago cop.

    My neighbour said even he was a bit surprised at just how good the money was. 

    I suppose there are other things to consider in the USA though, top line cash is fantastic, and if you have health care it feels golden when you are working.

    But health care once you retire? No sure how that works, I do know that pay as you go is prohibitively expensive.

    Also (again, the neighbours chat) the cost of University Education if you have kids is stratospheric, thats why there are so many yanks here (and in Glasgow where my son is studying) and happy to pay for it.
