Winter mortality in Scotland in perspective

Lockdowns and vaccines are the reason deaths have decreased this winter ”obviously” Does anyone know why winter deaths deceased (at greater speed) in 2018? All data available on the NRS website

Latest NRS weekly mortality statistics out today. 65 covid deaths in the latest week despite the overall number of deaths being below normal. As can be seen from the graph below, in the second wave, as covid deaths increase, non covid deaths decrease and as covid deaths decrease, non covid deaths increase back to normal. It’s clear misattribution of deaths - and all there on the NRS website to see. Why is no-one questioning this?

Outside of the Old Firm, I’d say that Hearts are definitely the most deserving of this humiliation.
