  1. Boys, this thread is getting derailed. Can we get back on track if that's okay with everyone. Let's put the petty disagreements to one side and move the debate on. It's only a bit of fun - No need to take things so seriously, take a break, come back relaxed, refreshed and refocused. @Bing.McCrosby
  2. I think that's a decent way to look at it. If Ferguson were to move to the English Premier League, what level of team would be interested in him? Personally I don't think any of those aiming for top-6 including Chelsea, Man Utd, Villa and Newcastle. I think just below that is more accurate, so probably a team like Brentford were when Hickey moved there. For me it would come from teams that needed a midfielder like Ferguson from the likes of Brighton, West Ham and Wolves.
  3. Thanks, it was a rather refreshing episode and the chat on the boards had been getting awfully dry. Honest fun, no harm done, chocolate biscuits for all. Excellent work.
  4. The post was directed at some forum users. So I responded for the group that are "getting all hostile". So that consortium would not be including you if that's what you're worried about champ.
  5. Mate you're talking utter shite. You said he hasn't had enough minutes to integrate into the team, but for the last 3 camps (Mar-24. Nov-23 and Oct-23) he has played around 40-50% of the minutes available. You say you're not bothered, but have posted 25 times on the subject in the last few days. Your bullshitting us, come on now. It's us with the problem, aye that must be it.
  6. lol. You've been on here pushing for yer nephew to start ever since you signed up to the forum last Thursday. Does the bullshit ever end?
  7. Haha, come now Sand Dancer. He's played between 40-50% of the available minutes for Scotland in the last 6 months. His time in the team has corresponded with our 'winless run'. I'm not thick enough to say the two are linked, but seems like the kind of thing you'd probably try and push forward if it was a positive stat. Stop trying to bullshit us mate and let's see that working of yours.
  8. Why are you so desperate for me to move on Sand Dancer? I understand you think what you have to trade to get Ferguson in the team is worth it and that you think he is better than what we already have in midfield. I just don't understand your basis for that. Show me your working mate, what's going on in that head of yours? Ferguson played the deeper midfield role against The Netherlands when he replaced Gilmour and he played behind the striker against Northern Ireland when Robertson came off and we went to a back-4. So we've seen both recently, did he grab his opportunity with two hands or just not do himself any harm?
  9. I can't speak for Dykes at QPR, but I don't remember him missing any good chances for Scotland. He doesn't get lots of chances to score, does he? Is that because he's not getting into good positions or is it because his role in the team provides him with less opportunity to score? If you compared his goals scored to his xG for Scotland, I think it would be quite close.
  10. The game tonight is a guaranteed win for me. No matter the outcome I'll be happy. If Dundee lose I'll be happy, If Rangers lose I'll be happy and same if it's a draw. Great place to be in ahead of the game.
  11. Why is there a clamor for Ferguson to be starting more? He's been getting improved time on the pitch. If you look at his game time it's gone up for Scotland in the last 6 months to just under 50% of the minutes available. Does it matter if he's starting or coming on? The whole discussion's been done to death. We know why he isn't playing more and there isn't an obvious solution to get him into the team. What you have to trade to get him into the team isn't worth it. Has he shown anything with that extra game-time to make anyone think he's better than what we already have?
  12. aww haha, don't be like that bro. I looked back and couldn't find your ideas.
  13. You've not thought this through have you? You have to give something up to get your nephew in the team.
  14. KT wouldnt be maurading up the left wing then?
  15. are you leaving out kt or robbo?
  16. We need RADICAL changes after that spineless, gutless shit show in March. The players need to show more heart and desire, they didn't want it enough or fight for the jersey. To that end I think we MUST shake it all up ahead of the Euro's. Firmation, players and gaffer. Starting XI against Germany: Gunn, Robertson, Tierney, Porteous and Ralston (He deserves a crack at it as Patto's oot eh form). Gilmour, McTominay, McGinn and Ferguson (Star man). Shankland, Conway (Young prospect wildcard) Manager: 2426255 High press. 442. On the front foot. Get after them! Goals, Goals, Goals. Confidence. Elation. Joy. Happiness. Bring the trophy home.
  17. Didn't you already discuss this in the thread you created last month?
  18. Cheers, just forgot to write him in.
  19. The players who were injured or ill at the weekend are: Hickey, Brown, Gilmour, Armstrong, Hanley, Nisbet, Shankland, McTominay and Jack. The ones who were fit, but didn't play were: Patterson, Cooper, Ralston, Gordon and Robbie McCrorie.
  20. Those are my opinions. I've said my piece on Ryan Fraser which I wanted to do and put forward my view on confidence being overstated by fans and the media and that's enough for me. Don't think we'll agree so happy to move on.
