Id have a vote after independence on whether Scotland should join EU. The votes is sure to be won but its still worth doing. As we would be voting on what the terms were which will have changed from before and it would just put the whole thing to bed for the next 30 years. So no one would have to listen to whether being in EU or not is a good or bad thing for a long long time. It also means just in case there is some financial crisis or other crisis within eu in next 20 years no one can say we didnt have a vote on joining.

For me SNP/Indy Bloc will clearly get enough votes that best case indy2 is unstoppable worst case Indy2 is still going to happen just with more debate before it finally agreed. I feel its unstoppable now. My point is that Sturgeon isnt that good she just looks it compared to the dross the other parties have and if there was someone younger in SNP ready to take over after these elections are finished whos more positive and can sell independence in a positive way that everyone even some undecided and even unionists can start to think that sounds good. Its more likely we get a Yes vote. I dont know whos in SNP waiting to step up , im sure others here could point to some but for me as someone whos lived outside Scotland in EU for long time , thats just what I think looking in without any bias other than I would vote Yes myself if I had a vote.

2 things Ive noticed from the infrequent times I see the Scottish news. Nicola Sturgeon cant finish a sentence without mentioning the tories and if its not that shes speaking on behalf of the "People of Scotland". Its a bit tiresome. Something a bit more uplifting would be good.

Id prefer Celtic stay in Scottish League and we create a fair and balanced way to share out the money raised in domestic game and the money that comes from europe, I dont think the issue with scottish league is any different from most european leagues. The european money flows to a few clubs only in every league and has created a gulf between them and the rest that becomes impossible to bridge. If uefa and domestic FA's got together and created a big aligned plan for all the money that comes in at euro, domestic leagues level tv, sponsorship and a fairer gate money sharing. scheme that was euro wide for domestic and euro game then i think we would see competition come back in all the leagues. Thats what i would prefer. On the question would SPFL survive without Celtic and Rangers, I think yes and it would do well.

true and I dont know how they can do it and do it fairly , i just think it wont happen and players wages will continue to rise as fast as they have been and from that super leagues with massive tv deals and sponsorship are unstoppable

should be done everywhere imo but as we are talking about Football , while the player wages arms race without any restrictions carries on, I think nothing will change or can stop a super league which will come under a different name at some point very soon even after all this

Im surprised the players at these clubs on the ridiculous money arent getting more stick, you can stop a super league, you can complain about owners but if those players wages arent reduced, nothing will change
