Another car crash of a performance. We've improved since ditching the worst manager in our history, obviously, but we're still absolutely terrible.

This squad could fill a thesaurus with new words. Weekly.

Morrison is worth more than £40k for me. Yes I know he has his obvious faults, but on form he has been one of the best flair player we have had for years.
If we got £4k we'd have won a watch. He's shite.

The Facebook page is genuinely the gift that keeps giving
'Lads, I'll probably take pelters for this, but I'm just putting it out there..I don't think we're going up this season (frowny face)'
Oh do you think?? Let's not be too hasty here Nostradamus.

I think under rule 14.1(i)(v) we win
'Should Brad McKay ever score or prevent a scoring opportunity in a match against you, you immediately forfeit all 3 points'

We're still fucking honking.
Morrison has been a different level of pish..absolutely woeful.

That aged well.
Thought today summed him up really. Some good and some woeful stuff. He has talent but I think he's hot a lot to do to be a starter next season. 6 out of 10.

Calumn Morrison needs a performance soon. He's been absolute pish and fast heading for the GTF door.

Part of our recruitment process should involve questions like :-
'Have you watched or ever had a desire to participate in Love Island?'

The problem wasn’t getting rid of Dowds, it was signing a replacement. Dowds was rank before his stint at Abroath. He looked like someone who couldn’t move IMO. He had the odd good game (V Cove at home that sticks out). I’m hoping we see a different player now.
That's why I'm so intrigued to see him now. He was fucking rancid with us.

Also, I think it was @FalkirkBairn2021, @G_&_T, and @GallowayBlue who expressed interest in joining. You guys still up for it?
Yes please! Do you guys do Lichess or Chess.com?

I wasn't font of it either...

It would be really easy for Dowds to effectively down tools on his return. If he's seriously pissed off we've brought him back, which I'd understand given how shabbily he was treated by Holt.
Hope not but I'd feel fucking furious to be dragged out of a top Championship team and made to play with Brad McKay and Hetherington.

Nouble hands down best player to ever play for us on my lifetime. Hopefully he can go on and do big things back at Livi boy has something special
Just noticed he plays for Cascadia at international level. Wild. Sounds like a 1984 continent.

Was hoping we'd have managed to pay off Brad McKay by now.
I'd rather start a game with 10 men than ever see him again.

Bizarre reconciling the Dowds we saw with the one pissing all over the Championship.
Genuinely intrigued to see his play again.

Can't believe we thanked Arbroath for making the move happen! Sack the board!
Confused by this too. Either his loan deal was up or it wasn't. What the f**k did that have to do with Arbroath.
I can't imagine if they'd had an option to extend that they wouldn't have triggered it given how well he's done there.

Fair play to the vast majority on here with the condemnation and actions taken to prevent the signing of DG. If you're on the other side have a long hard look at yourself especially the people dismissing his actions, that beast has no place in football or any profession in which he could be viewed as an idol.
From the Facebook page and other sources sadly I think the decent fans who are horrified by the thought of signing Goodwillie are in the minority.
Fucking depressing from a societal point of view
In some ways Scotland is rightly seen as progressive, particularly in a UK context, but when you scratch the surface we're not really.

We’ve seen the virtue signalling and posturing all before. The truth is if you do sign DG it will make no significant difference to your attendance. A few will stick to their guns and stop attending, maybe that will be offset by more fans turning up if you can get a winning team on the park. The outrage around the signing will subside as the goals rattle in and DG will score plenty of goals, he’s the best striker outside of the premier league imo. From that perspective I hope you don’t sign him and he stays at Clyde.
Sadly I think you're right.

I think we'd need to offer stupid money to get Lafferty.
Even at this stage of his career he'll be looking for 2K a week...

Totally unrelated to the DGW crisis and a much lighter topic, but the club coming up for 150 years is absolutely wild. I’ll never not be amazed by the rich history of so many clubs in the Scottish game, especially the small teams like Falkirk who will be more up against it. Just constant institutions throughout generations that continue to persist. Scottish football man.
Here’s hoping we can make it till then
I had an American pal come over a few years back. We were walking through Stirling and he asked what the number (1123 or something) was on the house wall. I said 'it's been there since 1123' and he just looked stunned.
Forget sometimes how old Scotland is as a real country with actual institutions.

Absolutely this. Jack Ross is an excellent manager. I think he'll manage the national side one day.
