Aye I’ve corrected it above.
I think the salient point here is that QP are an absolute mess off the field. There’s absolutely no excuse for clubs not knowing if a player is eligible for a game or not.
Completely agree. Its embarrassing if found true. Hopefully Ms Dempster will be addressing this imminently

Certainly looks like it if the rules posted in the previous page are correct and up to date.

That doesn’t look great at all. Hope the club weren’t stupid enough to not check the eligibility rules
Surely not.

People come, people go. Best to shed him tonight and get some money. It gives the remaining guys and new players a chance to shine and I look forward to that. Disappointed in Murray as a person.
100% agree. No player bigger than the club and he's done a lot for us and hopefully we got a decent payoff. Good luck to him (however I reserve the right to chuckle if County get relegated).
On the plus side, we don't have to worry about him getting injured now.

If it’s a PCA does that not mean he’s with us til the end of season?
How funny will it be if we beat the Staggies in the play-offs.
If its a pca then I believe he would stay till summer. But why sign a pca with a team that is potentially in a relegation battle. However Daily Record Live Transfer page currently saying he has left "according to Go Radio" Who knows.

Murray offski it seems. Absolutely gutted
Disappointing but thats football. Surely we are getting a reasonable fee to have let him go now.

He turned down St Mirren to come to us, so I think you'll be right.
The guy didn't look the part, albeit he didn't get much game time.
Didn't know that but yeah looked well off the pace.

Tuesday’s game should have a strong starting line-up. We were on a terrific run and have gone off the boil, which imho is due in large part to our stable starting line-up not starting regularly. After two weeks without a game we were very, very sluggish yesterday and the big names just weren’t firing.
I've now changed my mind on this and tend to agree with you. Strongest starting line up for me on Tuesday now. We need to play our way out this slight dip and get the sharpness and confidence up for Friday. However, a bit like Dundee, I think Ayr have shown they have our number and imo we may need some kind of tactical tinkering.

Coyle was told at the start of the season that it would be a zero-cost policy going forward so if that’s still in play, and I’d expect it to be given the amount of cash we’re still donating to the families of building contractors across Glasgow, then he needs to free up some space before new faces arrive. It’s a positive sign but only works if he gets the replacements. I’ve 100% confidence in Beuker doing his part properly. Tick, tock!
Ending Naismith's contract early is a bit of good business imo and at the very least must have released a reasonable wage.

Euan Henderson on loan from Hearts, happy with that. He looked phenomenal for Alloa last season (I still have nightmares about that 4-3 game at Firhill) and I was hoping we might make a move for him before the season started.

Naismith away to Cove on a permanent deal. Fair play, good luck to him.
Really liking this ruthless streak with the squad. That also feels a bit like freeing us up to bring someone else in…?
Hope so. The squad currently appears to total 21 but definitely seems a little light in certain areas outside the starting 11

Some speculation from Daily Record (so maybe nonsense) Live Transfers

Shields a wanted man
Queen's Park and Dundee are both pushing for a loan deal for Connor Shields, writes Scott Burns.
The Championship’s top two are both keen to land the Motherwell forward on-loan for the second half of the season.
‘Well boss Stevie Hammell wants Shields to go out on loan to get more first-team football under his belt between now and the summer.
The promotion rivals are both trying to make their pitch for the 25-year-old.
They know that Shields is proven at Championship level in his free-scoring time at Queen of the South.
There is also interest from south of the border.

I thought the pressure was all on Dundee? For what it's worth I'm fairly relaxed about this as it doesn't define the season either way. Long way to go.
It is, we're just not used to mixing i with the big boys ....... yet

Totally agree, he can't have been short on offers, although I doubt they would have been at the level of the teams interested in him now.
Would be disappointed if he left now but at some point, I would guess, we need to be showing some intent in selling players. We also have Eze taking a wage and I have no doubt Coyle believes there is a decent player there.
Who knows, he may want to leave now......... hopefully not.
