Dont think the club have said they will be training in Dumfries That's the way I read it from Tanner Fund twitter

Well going by what the tanner fund are saying after discussions with the cboard I would say the club are already planning for life in League 1. Wanting to be a totally Dumfries based club limits the players that are available to us. Train at Palmerston takes away the cost of training at Hamilton and all associated costs. Does the club think they can put a team on the park with players in our area and within the vicinity. As we all know players outside of that will be wanting considerable wages to make that commute 5 times a week. All for giving a pathway for our younger players. That does not seem to be happening at this time. We have Ryan Muir who looks a prospect but we brought in a loan player from Motherwell the same age. We had Scott Dunn who did well pre season but loaned out and when we brought him back we again signed another loan player in his position and loaned him out again.

If we lose on Saturday we are as good as down. O'Connor had a awful game against Raith but you can guarantee AJ will play him. It would not surprise me if he moved Gibson into the back like the 2nd half against Raith. Gordon scored a goal but was anonymous for most of the game. He has to step it up.

Totally agree all other side's round us have made that decision and we are bottom with poor January signings. Don't see any hope tbh

Thistle obviously took the ground share money from QP not imaging they would have any chance of going up to the Premier League. But with how open the league is could be a disastrous decision.

You expect AJ to admit he has made a mistake with his recruitment. What you say about O'Connor is exactly what he is doing to Nditi. He has destroyed that young lads confidence so much. From the high of his excellent man marking on Burke to subbed at half time against Dunfermline as the manager constantly plays him everywhere bar his CB position. The chance of Max being left it out is 0. As he has played almost every minute he has been available although it took our POTY out of his best position to shoehorn him in. If he was one of our signed players he would have been taken out of the team countless times. O'Connor is no better than Debayo at the back. As other posters have said we need players that will improve us not keep us the same. We have a large s quad now everyone is for bar Chima, Cochrane and McKay. Will the Board allow any more loan signings in Feb without some moving out.

He has Nditi who when he has played in his natural position has looked better than any of the guys who have played there bar McKay. Bit for some reason AJ sees him better in midfield . AJ has had the full transfer window to get an experienced CB in and he signs another Motherwell reserve. Gordon's goal was a cracker but to be honest he has to contribute more to the game as does Liddle. But Thistle fans did warn us. O'Connor looked shot to pieces last night. His tackle for the penalty was not required. I expect Nditi to come in for Gordon. We should have been dead and buried last night but players should a lot of character to get back into game. Agree 3rd goal comes from poor play by Paton but we should have still had enough behind ball to deal with it. Josh Rae kept us in the game with some good saves including the penalty. It will be a tough game against Thistle on Saturday who seem to know how to win and Brian Graham against our fragile defence is worrying.

Was part of AJ team that has struggled in other games to win but did look best of lot just before he was recalled. Team against Raith tomorrow will be inter wrong after the disaster of Saturday. We need to move Nditi back with O'Connor at CB as East expirement is over. Wullie has to move back to RHS whether it be in front of Max or behind him as Max won't be left out. I don't rate Cooper play Debayo. Midfield I don't know how he will line up. I would like to see 4 across middle with Connelly and Cameron up top.

So we are all talking about our players not being upto Championship level but will we keep them on in League 1 our will someone want any of them to continue in Championship.

My problem with Johnston is he tries to shift the blame to everyone but himself. Like yesterday he got everything wrong. Team selection was all over the place after a positive performance against ICT. He left us short in Dunfermline strongest part of the team in the middle of the park. Dorrans had the freedom of Palmerston. He had 2 weeks to plan for Dunfermline but chose to put his new signings in 2 days before and move multiple players about to accommodate. Why not play Nditi at CB why not play Gibson on the RHS why not play Paton as he had done well in previous games. Roy is obviously not fancied by AJ so why play him. The boy from Middlesbrough hopefully can only get better as that was a terrible debut but in fairness AJ changed formation 3 times in the first half for someone who had 2 weeks to plan. I feel the club has left this to long and relegation is a formality as the man is clueless as and you see from his interviews it's everyone's fault bar his and SC. Why not get rid and see what someone else can do for the remaining games because I thought no one was playing for him on Saturday.

Wilson has played about 2 games in a year. Is he fit?

The fact he thinks that second half performance was acceptable is outrageous. So that probably means the second half team will start.

But he is the one who said he wanted experience in his interviews but signed young guys.

Today was the perfect chance to play Nditi and O'Connor in their natural positions. East has done okay. Instead he moved everyone about in a new system no one knew what they were doing. Hence why he had to change it.

Why did he tinker with the shape from Inverness when it worked well in that game. He can't help himself. He always throws new signings in. It can't always work

We are non existent all over the park. They are coming through our midfield with ease. No pressure on any of their players. Boy from Middlesbrough keeps falling over the ball.
