Had one brief walk outside and no chance this is on.
Even if by some miracle it is, I’ll be staying toasty in the house.

I genuinely believe Robin Veldman would be better suited to running the academy and bringing on the youngsters. Bring in Malky Mackay with all his qp connections as manager. I don’t want to hear any nonsense about emails from several years ago. Livingston have a convicted drug dealer and martindale does a good honest job .

Summers could be back tomorrow if game is on which is a boost.
Bene, Breen, Fisher, KRH, Moffat & Tod all out though.

Another pre-match belter from McPake…
Honestly, he probably talks more pish than Peter Grant did but the better results means his every word isn’t scrutinised as much.

No-one has even hinted at expecting "loads of signings" so not sure where that's come from?
Was responding to DA’s post which mentions that exact phrase?

Think folk are going to be disappointed if they're hoping for a load of signings in January. Reckon there will be a couple but most likely more loans, and most likely not done until the end of the window.
Can’t believe any but the very thickest of fans would expect loads of signings in January tbf.
A defender on a free or loan and maybe a young striker at a push.

Personally would be fine with this getting shifted back to January but will head along if it’s on.

Guy doing the updates for the Beeb doesn’t have a clue.
Confidently states that Aris will now finish bottom of the group when in fact a two-goal win over Sparta Prague would see them finish 3rd.

You can tell how much effort goes into the social media by the fact so many of the posts go out on the hour so have clearly been scheduled hours or even days in advance.
Football clubs need to be proactive if they want to make the most of their online channels. Even if it’s just to increase brand awareness etc rather than a call to action with ticket sales/hospitality, pushing merch etc.
Not even something that needs a lot of money or manpower behind it; I’m sure there would be marketing students at the College who could do something towards their final qualifications.

Find it strange that the output from the club has stalled or gone slightly backwards since we hired a Marketing guy tbh.
I feel the club tries to present itself as being on a certain level yet so much of our operation feels small time.
Perhaps there has just been more of a focus on generating income from local businesses etc which I guess I wouldn’t have a major issue with tbh.
The idea of investing a great deal of time and money on a new training facility while at the same time relying almost entirely on volunteers to run the club feels like a disconnect.

An Airdrie fan unironically crowdwanking is amazing.

Phase 1 complete by March 24?
Not a chance.

As much as the Board’s detractors are hilarious, I also wouldn’t be throwing them a parade because some digging has taken place massively behind schedule.

WTF has happened to Summers? I want answers now!
McPake answered this a while ago tbf. Injured his calf and they’re being extra cautious as he’s not our player.

While you might be right, we also played Morton at home when they only had 3 substitutes available (one being a goalkeeper) during that time and still couldn't win, or even score a goal.
I certainly wouldn't be putting any money on us here. Saturday against Thistle was a massive regression compared to the previous few weeks where we'd at least started finding the back of the net regularly again.
12/5 for the draw looks pretty decent to me tbh.

If Fisher is out long term then we are fucked.
Hammy with Otoo and Comrie either side come Saturday? Or ditch the back 3 for a more conventional back 4?
Could see him playing Hamilton, Otoo and Comrie with O’Halloran at RWB tbh. Really should be Hamilton and Otoo as part of a back four though.

What better way to start December?
A much needed win for Dunfermline tonight brought us into the Top 4 and we need to follow that up with another three points here against a struggling Queen’s Park.
However, even more injuries means we will be back down to the bare bones. Our best - and only? - senior centre backs will all be out with injury so the visitors may struggle to find a better opportunity to get their first win since August.

Much needed three points this evening but really concerning to see KRH, Fisher and Moffat going down with injuries.

Piece of piss, back in the Top 4, who’s next?

Wighton came on after the hour mark and could have scored four tbh.

3k plus on a night like this is very good going.
What I meant was it won’t be actually that high because the ST holders will be counted whether they’re at the game or not.

Never doubted Wighton

3226 is an extremely low crowd when you consider how many ST holders will be counted if they’re here or not.
