I think Bryden should get another chance , maybe three games beside big Dowds . He seems to have no problem finishing chances , maybe not the complete centre forward yet but playing either side of Dowds may suit him more than being the target .

This .....However Logan is getting double maned these days . Which I suppose gives Murphy more room which is fine .

I don't see us doing much in the window unless some pretty decent long term options land in our lap .This team has mid table to fourth written all over it . Can't see us burning any of next seasons budget on more of the same .

Queens will come down and try to play . That suits us much more ,should be a decent game with a better chance of a positive result then yesterday . For the younger posters on here , our current place in Scottish football can be glassed as "all right" , there has been much worse over the last few decades . When McCall came in we were staring L2 right in the face and we were also part time . A little before that time we were getting whacked at home by Cowdenbeath and Forfar . Compared to that our current position is lofty . The good news is we are in transit and our destination is the Premiership , we all just need to remain calm ,it will happen . Enjoy the journey fella's bumps and all . Teams like Morton we can forget about all together very shortly .

Think we have to all understand that we just ain't good enough to win every week , its going to be an up and down season , hopefully we can get our shit together for the cup to a degree . The championship will be won by Dundee United , Thistle and Rovers will occupy the next two slots . The rest is much of a muchness with Morton going down and the rest scrapping it out to avoid one play off slot and trying to get into the other play off slot .

Perhaps one of our harder games in recent times . It will be interesting to see how the young English players stand to Morton's ultra industrial approach .

Would be very glad to take him of your hands at Christmas on a full time basis . However that would mean he would line up against Aero a couple of times . I doubt Thistle would allow that .

If Shankland played with Rangers or Celtic he'd be pushing 35 goals a season and would be getting caps galore . Adams is a turnip in goal scoring terms . I doubt he's even Championship class .

Dowds is a good Championship centre forward who's had a tough time of it at Thistle and Falkirk ,perhaps a three year contract at Ayr where he is going to play every week will suffice . Obviously we'll have to pay the going rate , I think this guy is worth it . Logan is entirely different case . If he continues to show case himself with us it will be another McInroy situation . He could move up to a bottom half Premiership side with out much problem .However would he play every week ? For him to stay with us Smith would need to push the boat out a bit . The question is are we at that stage come the season's end ????

We still have issues at full back so we're not free of problems yet . However the young English boys in central midfield are growing game by game, love to see young players improving with game time. The signing of Dowds turned out better than anyone could have been expected , which as really pushed us on . Maybe some optimism can be enjoyed now . Hopefully we have plans in play to mitigate any moves by Thistle and United at Christmas to mug us off . Pars next ...

Once the new hospitality is open they should be looking at a Ladies Day . The Rugby Club do one and its probably their main event of the year . With Presidents Day being a close second . Plenty of way to bring in the money once the building is finished .
