If Johnston was looking to add 4 players, did the 4 include replacements for Brynn, Cameron and Cochrane, so really adding 1 player? Was Shea Gordon possibly Cochrane’s replacement? So, he would now be looking for a keeper, a striker and one other?
Or did the 4 include a keeper, but not replacements for Cameron and Cochrane? So, if Cochrane goes, he will be looking for 6 this month (1 keeper plus 5 outfield). After already signing 1 he’d be looking for a keeper plus 4 more outfield?

This window so far has been a disaster for Queens .

Brynn Cameron and now possible Cochrane the idea was to make the squad better not worse.

AJ still has time but I have not really got confidence in him to get the players in we need

He's been injured a few weeks now and I don't think it's a coincidence we've been gutter in the middle since. He isn't exactly pulling the strings in the middle of the park but I'd say he's quietly effective.

Win-win for us I'd say. I wouldn't want him to go but wouldn't be devastated if he did and if he did go we would be due a nice wee price for him given he's on a 2 year deal.

Was just starting to hit good form after a slow start then he got injured .

As long as we get more than we payed for him then good luck to him.

    Mark Reynolds joins Cove rangers

Wonder if we where ever in for him ,

maybe location helps as he was with Dundee united.

Location is a big factor as he stays in Aberdeen .

At his age he wants to go part time plus very good wages at Cove.

Hopefully we are still in for Paul Watson he has the experience we need.

This ..... we're certainly capable of scrapping the odd unexpected draw here and there but we all know that alone won't be good enough.  It's wins that will keep you from the drop.  Each of our previous escapes have required a few wins to do it ..... won't be any different this time - just can't see them happening though without improving the back line, and maybe something up top.  Don't envy AJ his task.

There are  quality players available but will we pay top dollar to get them .

We have almost 30,000 in the Tanner Fund that must be used now or what is the point of it .

Great point for Queens today at a difficult venue.
Noticed Gavin Reilly bagged himself a double today. He would have done a job at Palmerston but the powers at be thought differently! Head and shoulders above any striker we have on our books just now.

I said that at time Reilly easily better than anything we have now.

He has taken time to get 100% match fit but will always get you goals .

Good result at Inverness but have been saying all season we should have signed at least one experienced centre half .

Our defending especially through the middle of the defence is very poor .

Now AJ has 2 weeks to get at least 3 top quality players in use everything he has fans money go over budget if he has to if not we will not stay in the Championship crucial 2 weeks then the biggest game of the season

AJ brought him in, how the Fcuk can he not fancy him as a player? Not the first time he’s done this.

Both Roy and Reuben are not good enough .

Reuben maybe will get there but we can't wait .

Away from that a good news story about Queens in the paper .

We made over 700,000 profit last season made up with the Dykes and Gov. covid money .

Not sure how I feel about this, surprised that it's even being discussed I was under the impression that he left under a bit of a cloud, of course it could just be paper talk.

Is it my immigration or have we been caught in a loop over the last few years of re-signing former players?

You have recalled Innes Cameron from us.

He was just starting to hit form for us getting plenty game time .

I just don't see him playing regularly for Killie yet but I suppose handy to have on the bench for you

Why can’t it be both? Nditi allowed Hughes to get the wrong side of him from a simple throw in and run into a dangerous position in our box. He didn’t commit a foul on that occasion but it was very poor play on his part that allowed that passage of play to develop. He also had every justification to be very let down and annoyed by the Ref who made a very poor decision.

On Sat he again let Shaw get on the wrong side of him. Rather than attempt to get back goalside or usher him wide he grabbed Shaw and committed a clear foul which the Ref “guessed at” from a poor vantage point and awarded a pen. Regardless of the decision it was poor play by Nditi. Reading between lines  I suspect that Mgt Team have been trying to get Nditi to make better decisions on the pitch by improving his positional play and resisting the urge to “dive in” or make rash unnecessary challenges. The fact that Nditi is on a bad run of similar errors over the past few weeks that have been costly in terms of results - is clearly an issue for the Manager.

As I have said before there is a lot to like about Nditi as a player and I think he’s got potential but as a team this season we have continually gifted big opportunities to the opposition and sadly for us we haven’t been getting many in return. This generosity has to stop if we are to stay up.

Nditi is still young he will hopefully learn from these mistakes .

This is the problem with Queens we have far too many young players who have never played at this level before be lucky if any have even played 50 games.

Our 2 best players are Gibson and Todd no surprise with the experience they have

  9. AJ interview same crap every week we need to stop losing cheap goals be more of a threat going forward.

A new problem is poor refs and Roberto.

That will go his confidence good his manager having a go at him.

There were a few players a lot worse than Roberto yesterday .

On new signing there are options out there but really he has not a clue what he is doing.

New manager fresh ideas is that worth the gamble

Why would we allow AJ to bring in more players just because he got lucky last year. He likes tinkering with players and their positions. He signed some promising players this year but still no one knows including him what his best formation and best players are. Who is going to loan us players and that drains their confidence even more.

Clubs will loan players to get them experience and game time at a decent level.

Almost every loan player we have had has gone back to his club a better player .

Hopefully Rangers and Middlesbrough can help us out with loan players both clubs should be happy to send us players .

Why should folk have to pay £18 of their money and waste 2 hours of their weekend to watch something they're not satisfied with?

If they did pay it and go to the ground to have a pop at those you mention they'd then likely receive pelters from the Happy Clappers giving it the usual "get behind the team" pish.

Think you will find a football fan supports his team through good times and bad .

Pointless to bring in 4 quality loan signings but be stuck with a manager who doesn't have a clue how to get the best out of them.

Just get him punted and give Gibson the job until the summer.  If it doesn't work it then so be it, but the board need to roll the dice and try something different to get us out of this rut because AJ certainly isn't capable of doing it.

Gibson is never ready for the managers job yet .

Why waste all that money paying off AJ when we could use that to add to the squad .

The players would get a new manager lift for a game or two but look at Dunfermline are they any better with John Hughes as the new manager.

Johnston saying he’s aiming for 4 signings in the January window. Encouraging but could do with them sooner rather than later.

Do we sack AJ or gamble on him having a clue to get 4 quality loan  signing in.

For me we have to give AJ a chance he did it last Jan  but  really this time we really have to spend big to try and stay in the Championship .
