  1. Arbroath budget is  much  the same  as   Queens.

Arbroath can get the best experienced part time players Queens can only get young inexperienced full time players we easly have the youngest squad in the Championship .

Queens should get back to part time I just do not see any advantage with us trying to stay full time

Agree 100% with this. There's very little between any of the teams in the league.

The Pars are bottom because they're missing chances and can't defend set pieces, while Killie are currently top because they've nicked a few late goals (away to QOS  and Ayr etc) and, other than against us, aren't conceding many. But in the main, there's no vast gulf in quality.

The teams who will end up near the top, come the end of the season, are the ones who can stand firm when they're under the cosh and score goals when they're on top.

That is Queens season under the cosh.we concede poor goals when on top we can't score.

We really miss Dobbie he would have been the difference in many games this season

We have the youngest.squad in.the League that is our problem if only we had Berra at the back .wins everything in the air

Guys, can you follow Fae_the_briggs's lead here and just respond to that muppet without quoting him please? That way those who have him on ignore don't have to see his tedious drivel. Kind regards.

Okay not a very positive post but is football not about opinions.

There is one thing i am sure about I have forgot more about Queens and football than 19QOS19 will ever no

  4. Is Aiden Kirkpatrick out with a injury ?.

The streaming should  really be £15 to cheap at a £10.

A wet cold day pay £18 or stay indoors watch for a £10.

I would rather go out to a game but a lot of fans will prefer to stay in especially saving £8 .

Away fans I am surprised we get any really all the bother of traveling when for a £10 you can watch at home

Aye, possibly. The thought occurred to me that it is maybe a one year contract with an option for another and they have described it as a two year contract.

Definitely a two year contract looks like we must keep AJ for a long time yet.

Queens fans don't really complain they just stop going to games well under 1000  now at home games .

I think the age of the players is irrelevant.   It could be argued that we have actually signed too many players, as the manager seems totally confused by the number of options available to him.

What I found most frustrating today was that AJ made no attempt to play to our own strengths and instead the intent was to have as many players behind the ball as possible.  Unfortunately he neglected to get his own players to press the opposition which allowed Kilmarnock to dictate play.   We were so negative that when we actually managed to win the ball our players were all hanging around our own eighteen yard box and had no out ball.

The team look totally devoid of confidence at the moment and it certainly doesn't help when the manager blames them for his own shortcomings.  At least Naysmith was honest enough to admit a lot of the mistakes were of his own making.

It's now a chore to even watch the games from the comfort of my own living room.  I've only been to Palmerston in the flesh twice this season for various reasons, and based on current evidence I can't see myself there again any time soon, especially while the current charlatan is in the dugout.

What comes with age is experience something we don't have.

Willie Gibson is our best player main reason is because he has a wealth of experience.

Most  of  our players have little or no experience of the Championship .

We must get back to part time football then we can pick up the best experienced part time players not just  gamble on boys in the hope that they learn quick on  how to win  games of football  .

That’s us lost the first goal 6 times in the league this season and there have been 6 defeats. Overall, since Johnston came back, we’ve conceded first 31 times. One win, one draw, 29 defeats. So a 93.5% chance of losing after conceding first. Which this season is 100%.
Johnston is not a good manager. But a lot of those players are gutless losers.

That why we should not have signed so many boys when the  going gets tough they just can't cope lose games of football far to easily

Harry Cochrane said in the press last week he was just happy to play every week win lose or draw that attitude will not win you games of football

His latest video is a disgrace. Talking about Hamilton being a PL quality team. Ignoring fact Partick horsed them 6-1. His pish is tiresome.

Not even going to listen to his pish.

I can't hear him saying again that it is fine margins in the Championship.

It was madness to give him a 2 year deal now we just can't afford to sack him .

In the bigger picture this myth that we must stay full time is wrong .

We really can't afford to be full time   Arbroath have much the same budget meaning  they can attract the best part time players  not boys like us .

We as a club are going nowhere home fans down to around 800 needing big changes but nothing will happen

Cove Rangers away in the Scottish cup. Exciting and difficult tie.

At least we don't play another Championship team.

Very difficult tie especially away from home long journey up to Aberdeen as well.

Cove have a excellent experienced squad a few ex SPL players .

The team must change v Hamilton, 3 blaring obvious changes starting with Max J moving onto the bench and Wullie Gibson moving to RWB, allowing another midfielder to start and then drop Ruben for Ally Roy. AJ will prob start him v Killie on Sat when Cameron won't be able to play against his parent club. Give Paton and Todd more gand time too...

We need to get goals from somewhere very disappointed so far with Cameron hopefully he will get better with game time.

Reben will run all day but his job is to score goals something he can't do .

Roy and Paton should have been on with at least 20 mins to go both have pace we did everything far to slow today.

Now on to Max Johnston he is not ready for Championship football only plays because his Dad is the manager we are even playing players out of position so he can play.

Todd Roy and  Paton should all start against Hamilton get Gibson back to his best position right wing back .

Already looking like a must not lose game, AJ to set us up in a negative formation and us to lose.

Wouldn’t mind seeing 3/4 changes to the starting 11, thought East has been unlucky of late. Would keep the 3-4-1-2 and go with

    Brynn

    Gibson

    McKay

    Nditi

    East

    Cooper

    Todd

    Cochrane

    Connelly

Roy (if fit, if not Ruben)

    Cameron

I am also a realist and fully expect to see Max Johnston stinking out the right wing back position for 90 minutes on Saturday.

Max will play he has the key name in Johnston can't see Josh losing his place even after that crazy tackle at  to gift Ayr a pen .

Would like us to go a 4-4-2 get Fizpatrick and Connelly wide get balls into the box for Cameron and Ruben but none of the above will happen .

Gie's peace. He's 25 tomorrow, not some daft teenager and he's our oldest centre back. It was an absolute brainfart of a stupid challenge from a player who had been our best defender on the day to that point.

Who are you leaving him out for? All the other defenders are younger and the only other centre back if you stick to a back three is Chima if he is fit (although East could also play there but is also younger).

He might be almost 25 but has played under 50 games in his career so far.

Got lucky at Morton with a stupid tackle and again last week against Thistle made 2 poor mistakes lucky not to get sent off !

Really could have cost us the games at Morton and Thistle last week .

Said so yourself he cost us the points at Ayr that can't go on any longer.

This. I tried to say that in my previous post. I just cannot understand why he did it or how he possibly thought he could do it legally or needed to. It wasnt a last ditch challenge on a player likely to score. It was a completely unnecessary chop down of a player who looked unsure what to do with the ball.

I hear the stuff about Ayr getting better with the subs (undeniably they did) but fundamentally apart from hitting the bar with a header at a set piece they hadnt looked remotely like scoring until Debayo effectively gave them one. It was an inexplicable foul and for me cost us 3 points.

This is what happens when you have young defenders had a crazy tackle against Morton today was even worse no excuse for it time to leave him.out the team next week
