Loan signing are the reason why we are still in the Championship without them in Jan we would not have stayed up . Our squad is fine if a bit young but we just need to add that bit of quality and experience a loan signing like Sheilds can bring.

Hopefully AJ is trying to sign Sheilds on loan he needs game time something we could give him. Jack Hamilton at Livi is another who could be available but the dream signing is Sheilds have until Thursday probable end up signing nobody

Is Connor Shilds fit maybe available for loan to get him game time would get that back at Queens even till Jan .

This is another problem with us having such a young squad especially in defence . We have not got the balance right we need experience right through the squad .

Who signed all the great squad ?. We have far too many young players in saying that I suppose with our budget that is really all we can get .Hopefully this week we can get a quality loan signing in

Good that the club has explained why things are not back to normal at home games . I can put up with anything if it means I can get into Palmerston.

Have seen Chris Templeman many times at Palmy he is not half as good as Nouble . He was a joy to watch has it all look forward to watching him again on Friday night Arbroath very lucky to have him for now .

I'd forgotten about Shields. Has he recovered from his injury? Surprised Shields has not really done anything with you yet. He was outstanding for us last season power pace goals . Is he out a bad injury . Send him back to us we will give him game time when fit

AJ last interview before the Arbroath game says they are on similar wages to Queens . This is why we should be part time get better more experienced players. All we can sign just now is young players hoping to make it.

Raith Rovers payed that bit extra to get a top quality 4 G pitch it looks and plays like a grass pitch somehow we have to replace our pitch to that standard. Away from that I don't see it as a step back going part time Arbroath are a good example of a good experienced part time team. Most of the Arbroath squad are on much the same money as our players but the difference is you can attract the best part time players rather than just pick up young boys in the hope that you might find a decent player . There seems to be a myth that if you are full time you have better fitness that is not the case nowadays.

Very disappointing result against Arbroath . They had the experience we lack and the star man in Nouble We just don't have that player anymore who can change games on his own like a Dobbie or even Sheilds . Somehow we must get that player or it will be a long season. AJ seems to think there are goals in the team but we lack quality in the most important part of the pitch.

I think we need a out and out striker as well hopefully can get 1 in on loan. Shields not getting a game at Motherwell . Great win at Raith a real team performance everyone did there job very well . Hope we can get our good away form going at home.

Both teams had really good wins last time out . Arbroath are having a great start they always had a good defence but now they have added goals with the boy on loan from Livi up top . Hopefully we will have a strong squad for this game maybe have Todd and Roy back from injury . Hope Cochrane injury is not bad did not look good at Raith . Do Thistle pay many players over a £1000 a week. Queens could not get anywhere near the £1200 you are supposed to be paying Kevin Holt . Your budget must not be far behind Killie .

A fit Reilly is better than anything we have just now but I suppose that is the gamble his fitness . He is coming back from a bad injury Queens not prepared to take the risk Morton have time will tell who is right . Holt was never on anywhere near a £1000 a week when he played for us amazed you believed this family member now back to the real world somehow we must get a quality forward in on loan .

No way Thistle are paying any player £1200 a week or that we offered Holt £900 . More like both figures halfed then you are about right

That is what I thought it was for as well or what is the point of it . On a different point why was only one exit open at the Portland Road end making everyone squeeze out together surely better with the normal two certainly not good for Covid having us all stuck together like that when no need for it .

Arbroath have got that big striker who is making the difference for them up top on loan from Livi. Why we can't just pay Reilly full wages I just do not understand We have to find a player like that before the window closes on Tuesfay night
