Will be some task to replace McCart in the summer - thought he was immense yesterday. Probably struggle to find a left sided centre half quite as good as him on our budget. Think our inability to keep the ball last night really killed us - particularly in the second half. Understandable tired legs probably didn’t help, especially with Hearts going up a gear. In saying that, the second half defensive display gives me a lot more confidence than I previously had. Felt a lot more like the St. Johnstone of last season in that regard.

Potentially got my central midfielders confused in fairness! Was certainly impressed by one of them the first half then didn’t really notice him in the second. Although not as fluid as I’ve seen at times this season, thought Rovers were decent tonight whilst not creating too much then undone by a wonder goal. Good scenes when the equaliser went in!
