  1. I am definitely less than 100% convinced that these two PCAs even exist. Do actually have any documented evidence?
  2. Yeah I pretty much agree with all of your post. I just wonder whether it’s worth antagonising club boards regarding perceived past failings when those failings are not the key source of the issue and indeed could be argued wouldn’t have changed anything had they not happened. If the key here is getting clubs to accept the farce that is VAR and do something about it, then perhaps stick to that point and not point the finger for stuff that they can no longer do anything about. That the main gist of my point.
  3. I think the whole "clubs not consulting fans before the decision was taken" thing is a bit of a red herring and not a major point here. As someone posted earlier, St. Mirren did consult the SMISA members who were overwhelmingly in favour of its introduction. I can't remember if I took part in that vote (I think I did), but if I did, I would definitely have voted in favour. This would've been because I was naive enough to think two things:- It would put an end to all the dodgy (potentially bias) decisions that have constantly gone the way of the OF and have driven me nuts over all the years I've been watching St. Mirren. It never occurred to me that those dodgy (or biased) decisions would simply move from the pitch to the VAR room. I assumed the VAR room would be manned by some faceless boffins somewhere and not by the same clowns that referee our matches. That the system would be employed with some level of competence and consistency (stop laughing at the back!). My point here is that I think a helluva lot of other fans, particularly non OF fans, would've had the same thought process as me (been as daft as me) and this is partially evidenced by the St. Mirren vote. In other words, had the fans of all clubs been consulted, I think they would have voted in favour of VAR. I think it's only experience that now tells us what a complete farce it is. That is not of course to say that we shouldn't have known better.
  4. Maybe it's true and Robinson made the mistake of telling the players at HT last Saturday!
  5. At least the Killie v St. Mirren thread appears to have died. Don’t draw this to the attention of Killie fans
  6. I suppose you could argue that the mainstream media in the UK is against all our clubs in the sense that they only give a f**k about the arse cheeks.
  7. Aye but at least their arrogance is in some way justified
  8. We all know there’s no games for a couple of weeks, so let’s all do the decent thing and shift our attentions to the Tartan Army Ramblings forum. Enough of this unimportant domestic nonsense.
  9. But he didn’t get pushed around. He just ran past him (hardly at breakneck speed).
  10. Utter nonsense. I believe the boy is a player, but what he did there was nothing special. And the reason you don’t see it all the time is because defenders aren’t usually that shite.
  11. Exactly. Don’t want to take the shine off the boy’s moment, but he had to display neither skill nor pace to score that goal. He just ran past Dunne and Gogic like they were stuck to the floor. Fair play to the boy for doing the business, but defensively the only word to describe that is embarrassment.
  12. As much as I trust Robbo, it has to be said he made several baffling decisions yesterday. Both starting line up and substitutions. Decisions that in my opinion cost us the game. Suppose you have to weigh that up against the number of times he’s made decisions that have won us games, but nevertheless he needs to take the blame for yesterday’s defeat squarely on his own chin.
  13. Dunne and Gogic were absolutely shocking for the 5th goal. Made it look like a wondergoal when in reality the boy just ran past them without using any particular skill or pace. They looked like they were running in treacle.
  14. My confidence levels have just completely plummeted having seen that line up. What the f**k is Kwon doing on the bench?
  15. I assume you must be talking about the last sentence as everything until then is correct. Are you having a bit of fun and suggesting Wales isn’t in Europe because it is.
  16. I believe that is exactly it. And obvs it only required an 11-1 vote to put that rule in place.
