  1. Aye, but in fairness that's only thick folk that can't understand that there's no such thing as 7th place. Only 6th and 1st in the bottom 6.
  2. Has anyone considered the possibility that Clement was maybe burstin for a Tom Kite? I’d like to see him come out and say something along the lines of “many apologies to Don Cowie, but ah hud a turtle’s heid poppin oot and had tae bomb it tae the cludgy.” Think that would earn him a bit of respect back.
  3. Congratulations to Hearts. Excellent achievement. Sadly, despite being in pole position for virtually the whole season, it looks like we’ve fucked the other Champions League place
  4. Agreed. Not sure if Dundee are due 3 away games, but if they are, hopefully the league will keep it simple and just send them to us for a third time. Don’t want us to have to go to them and the league send Rangers to us for a third time.
  5. So I guess Dundee making top 6 throws our post split fixtures (which would’ve been straightforward if Hibs or Motherwell had got there) into doubt.
  6. How much fuckin space and time did we give Hatate. Absolute shite.
  7. Can somebody please have a fuckin word with Hemming on those free kicks. He did that umpteen times last week.
  8. No fans = Doesn’t really count. You know it makes sense.
  9. Well I seriously hope no one ever manages to win two Covid cups again.
  10. I that case, I hope Dundee miss out as I assume if it's Hibs or Motherwell, we'd have them at home rather than Rangers as we're due to play them at home anyway. Don't want our 3 home games advantage being diluted by two of them being against Celtic and Rangers.
  11. How long are you going to bang on about winning those 2 Covid cups?? It’s beginning to take on England 1966 proportions.
  12. Yup. Absolutely bizarre statement. Playing on a Thursday and then on a Sunday is completely normal.
  13. I think this could be a belter. If we’re gettin ridden rotten early doors on Saturday, I’ll no be slow in switching over to this match.
  14. Robinson said in his Friday interview last week that Strain was still well off getting 90 minutes, but had picked up a wee knock anyway midweek. I suspect that’s why he didn’t feature in the matchday squad. I wouldn’t be totally against him missing out again on Saturday if it meant him coming back all the stronger for the first post split game two weeks later.
  15. I’m guessing the rationale was that if the pitch was unplayable at 11.00, then it definitely wouldn’t be playable in the evening. Thereby allowing an early postponement. Still agree though that just going straight to a 3pm inspection would’ve worked equally as well.
  16. Yeah that’s kind of what I was getting at. If they felt the game had a fair chance, why do the inspection so early. Particularly when they know the weather isn’t going to improve.
  17. Must admit, an 11.00am pitch inspection on a day when it’s forecast to rain all day, suggests to me they are going to call it off. Soon find out I guess.
  18. I never suggested we we important. All I was doing was pointing out that GG’s post was incorrect. Hope that’s ok with you.
  19. I don’t think there are any St. Mirren fans who think we are true “rivals” (other than of course being Scottish Premiership rivals). That would just be silly. Hibs and only Hibs are your rivals. However, any younger Hearts fans trying to suggest that a helluva lot of resentment towards St. Mirren doesn’t exist within the older Hearts fan base is being equally silly.
  20. Are you sure about that? What you’re saying is you’ve had a 20/18 split in the past? Surely that’s not right? I know sometimes after the split you have to go somewhere for the 3rd time to even things up, but I didn’t think you could play 2 more away games than home games or vice versa. That’s grossly unfair.
