What annoys me is we don't even get ones which aren't!
Refs are so bad and we can't even con one over 30+ games

We were the stronger team, we had more possession, we threatened on the wings, we crossed the balls, and were aggressive in our play. We were also desperately unlucky to balance it all off!
That all sounds very familiar

Completely correct. Falkirk fans are too quick to attack.
At the same time, many Falkirk fans plan their Saturday around watching FTV, wherever they may be. It shouldn’t be so vulnerable.
"... Robust tender process ..."
We seem to do this with every platform the club use and yet improvements benefit whom.

Concerning that for all the good play we've had,.conceded two and needed an OG.
Where have we seen this before...

Said last week that Alloa would be the game to judge our progress and looks like that was prescient.
Hamilton winning and setting the pace - as I hoped we would - but looks like it's gonna be the slow-and-steady approach ultimately

Unpopular opinion but personally, I think he fooled many and whereas others got found out much quicker and emptied, he hung about far too long.
Spoke volumes for me that when relegated he praised the running of the club and then in his last - and our worst - season with us, bemoaned players "downing tools". Reaped what he sowed.

You're as bad as the Falkirk admin last week!

I was there as well, recall it being a pretty spicy encounter with a lot of back and forth between the sets of fans. The incident is included in the highlights here -
Davie Sinclair
No idea why but always liked him even though he played quite infrequently. I was probably sh*t scared not to like him!

Jamie Swinney said setting up under full u10s, u12s etc teams to give us a full academy set-up would cost around £100k a season. Given FSS currently raises around £102k a year funding something like that would be perfect
That involves growing the FSS four-fold or something like that as the money you mention is going towards filling the £400K deficit before you even start funding the academy further.

Yeh I understand that but they shouldn’t automatically expect the money to be donated to them instead. FSS have as much right to withhold that if that is the boards position.
That's where the agreement has potentially left the FSS on a sticky wicket.

I agree @Van_damage but they can't be forced to sell them and it's within their gift to do what it is alleged is happening.
Will watch with interest the reasoning and outcome.

There are shares still available though. That’s what kicked off the debate with the FSS newsletter stating that the club retaining 1% of shares and not allowing the FSS to buy them.
That's why I added notionally . There are shares but they're not available to the FSS.

'The club in turn is willing to let FSS suggest how such funds might be used within the club’s budget.'
That basically says yeah you can say what you want it to be spent on but we can continue to say naw.
...
It's pretty clear where the club think the monies should be spent ...

If your summary is correct we need to know from the FSS Committee why this agreement was signed without the matter being referred to FSS members for discussion and a vote.
Looks like this was the announcement of the agreement: https://falkirksupporters.org/2023/05/31/formal-agreement-with-falkirk-football-club-to-assure-a-future-for-our-fans-voices/
Does read that it's a donation or purchase of shares. However, as there are notionally no more shares to buy then it's the former, if correct.

One downside from today that the U1876 or Falkirk haven't sorted out a song for MacIver as he's clearly going to sclaff his way to top scorer.
I'd suggest Whitney Houston: It's not right but it's okay

I think the biggest refereeing issue with this is that he hasn’t made a decision, if he thinks Morrison has went down easy then he should be booked, if its a foul its a penalty. Instead he makes no decision. Similarly with the amount of time wasting going on, there should have been 3 or 4 minutes added on in the first half, instead less than a minute. Biggest challenge I have is just a complete lack of consistency and applying of the rules. Used to it in this league now though!
Not to mention the corner that the ref/linesman clearly hadn't a clue about off Alfie's head.

Really pleased Nesbitt got a goal.
Keep that form up and he'll be worth earning another two years

The club uses 2nd class post. Expect it for the last game of the season. If it doesn’t arrive, go into the shop and they will print you a paper ticket.
Bought online you can view it in the "My Members Card" section of the ticket site when logged in and the QR code will get you in if you screenshot it to your phone.

Without trying to be too nit-picky, the Mackie signing did tbh, we had Leon McCann and Hendo, that was totally fine no need to sign Mackie.
We can't really ever know the though process at that time and can only guess at the reasoning but to say we shouldn't have signed X because 12-14 months later we might miss out on Y is through-the-looking glass stuff.

Bought my season ticket last night but never got the option to collect or post to my address, anyone know if it'll just be delivered to my address as standard or will I have to call the club shop?
I've emailed but no response yet.
Was this a renewal?
When I renewed I expected I'd just keep using the one I had (same for the kids renewals) but new ones eventually arrived in the post to replace them.

I'll admit I'm not convinced either way what happened yesterday as I've only the highlights to go on but if the ref can make a mistake like that then ones like Morrisons last week you'd think might get given.
