Still buzzing from Saturday and pleasing to see that all the antics Accies employed failed to deter the fans and the team.
Changing up the ball "boys" even more embarrassing than the ticket nonsense

He gets so many frustrating bookings. Seems to always go in late on someone in the middle of the park when it's not really necessary and get booked. I love his enthusiasm and will go win but just needs to temper it a wee bit.
I think if Hendo was stocky and diminutive he'd get away with many of the bookings he gets.
Due to his stature and height I think refs immediately sense it's clumsy and mistimed. Some of the bookings have been harsh.

I think Beckford has just made that up.
Thanks for clarifying that it is, in fact, Hamilton Accies who are w*nks

No chance Louis Longridge is picked ahead of McCann at LB.

I'd assume that if they need the unsold tickets back it's because they've now decided to sell them at the game.
Partially this but likely more to do with the fact Accies can charge a fee for unreturned tickets in line with the BoE base rate so will cost us money to keep their tickets beyond Friday .
Accies using the antiquated rulebook to maximum effect.

We don't make any money from the concession stands as they are outsourced but you keep up your rather weird obsession about it being a tax dodge if it makes you feel witty.
I can't remember if they take card payments or not as I don't really buy anything. Something tells me they do, though, as the wife has come back with a couple of steak pies before and she rarely carries cash.
I suppose I'll give them the benefit-of-doubt and just presume instead that Hamilton are determined to make it awkward as for fans to give them money to legitimately pay the taxman, based on this episode and info given to their home fans on Fanbase.
I'd advise your good lady to take "a little change" as it says.

The Hamilton debacle plumbs new depths of pettiness -
Tickets available via Fanbase to home fans but I honestly expected as much.
However, that aside it would seem that for anyone who wants to buy refreshments - which I'd highly consider avoiding out of my own pettiness - will need cash as no facility for digital payments as advertised on the Accies ticket page on Fanbase.
This doesn't appear to be widely communicated officially - Accies own matchday guide makes no mention of it and I doubt ours will come Thursday.
Accies clearly don't want (or want to declare ) the income from the match so let's give them the minimum for the inconvenience and keep their HMRC declaration easy.

... And the SPFL don't contract or operate their own ticketing platform either.
I'm not sure what's incorrect about that or that they would give more than 7 days notice @Higgenarse
If they did use/operate their own ticket site then the member clubs wouldn't need their own or sell tickets on their behalf for the cups.

... Can't wait to see a similar meltdown when you make the Challenge Cup Final and have to buy a physical ticket.
A completely different situation all together.
I'm sure Fanbase will really appreciate you undermining their platform by suggesting it can't handle big supports of big clubs .

In the last two seasons we had Hibs and Pars sell out their away allocation. The process was the same. Security might change, supplies might change. The online system is the same.
Seem to remember we also blocked Fife IPs to mitigate away fans buying home end tickets.
The excuses @Todd_is_God has trotted out are as laughable as his diddy teams organisation is.

None. We're not selling them, though. You are.
Only because your tinpot club can't be arsed/think they're smart arses.

Our etickets are sold via fanbase - a platform you don't use.
... and what bearing does that have on why you can't sell your own tickets?
Civil Service Strollers, Edinburgh City and a whole host of others use it and I've never had an issue purchasing tickets for their grounds using the platform

I'm STILL not convinced Aidan Nesbitt is in my first choice 11 but aye, that's the one and only position that's debatable, other than maybe GK
Really no debate. Nesbitt so underrated IMO

And yet Clyde could issue online tickets for a stadium that wasn't theirs..... That sort of skullduggery should be against the rules tbh. Its restrictive enough being a football fan. f**k Hamilton.
It's clearly gamesmanship.
As you see at other clubs recently, all it will do is probably cause reciprocal pettiness and it's the fans who lose out.
Football as a business seems to be one of the few who purposely alienate 50% of its market whilst simultaneously bemoaning everything that crowds bring to the "experience" provided to which some of them should be ashamed.
I didn't feel one way or another about Accies previously but despise them deeply now.

Tickets on sale a week before a game and physical pick up only. Completely unacceptable in this day and age and a clear attempt to limit the number of away fans going. Hope we fucking pump that rotten lot.
Totally agree. Not to mention the additional overhead added to our own staff for what is essentially Hamilton's job to do.

Don't use the stadium car park, there's plenty parking in surrounding streets and West Mains Industrial Estate. You might be able to park in the new college car park
Those pesky away fans better not be buying pies or programmes neither. Selling them tickets is the thin end of the wedge ...

Talking of pitches. Bad news for us if things go as hoped the next couple of years.
It's the DR so detail and substance isn't their strong point but it appears to be an article based on not much more than "some people don't like them, so we'll ban them" as opposed to being rooted in any factual reason why they should be outlawed e.g. injuries, ecological concerns etc.

Sad fact is Morrison will move on soon. Whether we can get a fee in January or he leaves under freedom-of-contract is the question.
He's been a cracking player for us and stood out in meh, mediocre and vastly improved teams which is a measure of the talent he is.
It would be a shame to lose him but like others before, he should go with our best wishes.

I don't think Dave McInally has made any secret of the fact he was/is Van Damage. Credit to him that he's foregone anonymity to state his concerns or understanding of the position.

In regards to Burrell, I think it was purely that John identified that we needed a physical presence which neither he or Allan are, up top and finances dictated that he would leave having signed Allan in the January.
Alegria was the first attempt and Oliver filled the link role albeit lacks the height to be an aerial presence that MacIver is.
We've now got good variation in the strikers role but the nub is there's only one in McGlynn's system that can start and MacIver plays to the teams strengths. Shanley may also be capable of doing similar but I can't see Allan being any more than a bit-part player now.
