Given the context of that goal, that's an incredible lack of passion and excitement from whoever is filming that btw. f**k me!

It's just a groundhopper with no affiliation and that corner is sparsely populated - might even be from the press area.
The stadium and KM was plenty loud enough but appreciate you bringing your experience with low crowd noise

... I'd have loved a 5-0 win but 4 is more than adequate.
Aye totally spoiled in that I wouldn't have said we'd score 4 but when you see the sitter Nesbitt missed and the one Alfie took off a buoyant Oliver's toes in the 2nd half then 6 wouldn't have flattered us.

I think there's been a few injuries with Fyvie being a big miss but aye, they offered very little other than hoping to catch a slack pass. Once we scored they had absolutely nothing and Hartley had no plan B.
Much like QoTS on Saturday there was never any ambition to try and win the game. I actually think the way Kelty approached the game against us would get a bit more joy. They weren't all out attack but they tried to play a bit and caused us some trouble at the back.
The obvious tactic was to counter with Burrells pace but as I said on the match thread, he was never going to pick it up and run 30-40 yards and finish. He is a poacher and finisher who in most foot races against L1 defences will prevail but Tom and Coll smothered him and he couldn't get in behind.
We played better passes into him last night than his own team and last 15-20 mins I thought he was anonymous.
Shout-out to Shanley who I was willing on to get his maiden goal and it would have been deserved. He did a power of work and looks livelier than Jordan Allan ever has.

The other one is just yer wee moment of light relief where their defence have an hilarious nightmare, and then the effortlessly lovable Liam Henderson bags a goal and gets the opportunity to lap it up. All while the defence channel their inner Hartleys by whinging like f**k to cover their own incompetence.
...
Cove defender with his arm wrapped around Tom Lang's neck and pulls him into his own 'keeper who then proceeds to claim an obstruction. Muppet

... time to set your bar a bit higher imo.
Agreed. The squad has been under-achieving and our next target should be the P&B Freddo's challenge

Sobering thought for anybody getting carried away.
IF we had lost at Hamilton instead of winning we would now have 49 points, Accies would have 44 points and would have a game in hand. And we still have to play each other twice.
Fine margins.
Please refer to my post from yesterday...
I don't think anyone should get carried away but talking about a scenario that didn't happen in the midst of a 25 game unbeaten run just after you've beaten a - distant - rival 4-0 is an odd choice.

Were you there tonight?
What a silly question

We gave Burrell better service tonight than we did last season!
Can see why he's been so prolific against most other teams but Tom Lang had him in his pocket pretty much all night. Absolute masterclass.

Plastered on the Cove changing room walls for sure. Hope it doesn't come back to bite us.
So many subtexts to this game that I think this is just one of many reasons those associated with Cove will be keen to take the points but not the major one.
We've always had a target on our back and this is just another one .
Hopefully it's 25 come Wednesday morning and we continue the disappointing season those Aberdeen fans are having.

... We need to work out how to stop Burrell...
Stop the service, stop the goals.
As we know, Burrell doesn't create a great deal on his own and if we can isolate him then he can be nullified.
I've got faith that Tom and Coll can manage him on Tuesday while Hendo, Spencer and Nesbitt dominate the midfield and stop the supply.

Interestingly I see Williamson as quite similar to Nesbitt in how he plays.
Williamson has posters of Aiden Nesbitt on his wall

Will be lucky if they muster 150 tomorrow
I wasn't far off .
The SA lot predicting a clean sweep clearly don't follow them home and away!
Great performance from us today

There is zero evidence that will happen. Another support who CBA attending 30 mins from their patch.
Will be lucky if they muster 150 tomorrow.

The club’s online ticketing portal needs throwing in the bin, and start again. Having to buy one ticket at a time to cover a group of friends all season ticket holders linked on profile.
Seems buying for a family of 4 was problematic. Appears limited to two tickets, so 2 adults and 2 U16 had to go through as separate transactions.
Definitely not as slick as it could (or should) be.0 -
All the Morrison speculation reminds me of when Steve Tosh back left in the McCall season.
He was absolutely flying IIRC, seemed irreplaceable but we had so many good players that year he was almost forgotten by the end of that season and as we all know finished Champions.
Would be sad to see Morrison go and he has been a great player for us but that is the cycle.

Yes. Falkirk 1 hour 20 ish from Annan.
Brilliant. Could you stop by the farm next time and drag some of your fellow fans along as well too.
My point is I don't think it's Falkirk fans needing lectures about travelling all over the country when some can't even cross a bridge.

Wow if you think Aberdeen, Annan or Dumfries is some sort of expedition from Falkirk god bless you.

Interested to know if you attended the Falkirk stadium for the game earlier this year?
Seems to be a massive trek for Alloa, Edinburgh City and Stirling Albion fans it seems

Does anyone know whether their are any sponsorship opportunities for our new player Ryan Shanley?

Are you c***s at it?
First you pull our pants down and pump us on Saturday and now you're sending me emails trying to get me to buy a half season ticket?
The one from Accies is probably being hand written in quill as we speak and bound to the foot of a carrier pigeon

... he has his uses coming off the bench as a different option or as cover for injuries but other than that he never gets into our strongest 11 at the moment as far as I’m concerned
I'd also put Gary Oliver into this category as well. He's not clinical enough up-front and no way he get's in ahead of Nesbitt, Miller or Spencer in the creative/attacking midfield roles.
I'd think both Allan from his demeanour and Oliver due to his age will be one's pushing to move in January - unless we get offers for these guys and he gets another chance.
