  1. That photograph used as evidence looks like it was taken with a 1930s camera.
  2. The team lineup Ayr posted on their official Facebook says he is injured.
  3. After seeing McKenzie start figured I'd look up FotMob app. Amartey has the same number of goals this calendar year as McKenzie.
  4. I see Queens Park are still using that bafflingly insane high line.
  5. Uh did the Airdrie PA just say "show support for racism" at the start there? Obviously not but there was an awkward length of pause.
  6. That's a great win, especially pleasing against a loathsome club like Airdrie.
  7. The sad problem is Starmer, a good chunk of the parliamentary Labour Party and a significant portion of the electorate agree/actively like and support the Conservative stance and position on many policies. Labour under Starmer are basicially the Conservative Party and the Tories have become the BNP from the mid 2000s. The sad indictment of the state of UK politics now is that the policies that c*nt Nick Griffin farted out on Question Time in 2009 (I think) are now major planks of the governing party and their Home Secretary.
  8. Impressive that a referee more incompetent and staggeringly inconsistent than Colin Steven exists but there you go. Raith seemed ghost through Ayr in the first half, personally from the Somerset Road end the first Raith goal looked like a cracking finish. Much better second half from Ayr, Dowds looks like he could be useful for us. Raith keeper made an excellent stop from Chalmers at one point.
  9. Much better second half from Ayr, but that chronic spell in the first half where Raith scored twice in about 3 minutes was the killer. Our defensive play is utterly chronic at times. Albinson didn't have a real chance with either. (personally thought the 1st was a great finish.) As for the referee, it's genuinely impressive that there is a referee out there worse and more bafflingly inept than Colin Steven.
  10. Going forward, Murphy and Chalmers are very good on the wings. Defensively on the other hand Raith will get chances, our defence does not inspire confidence.
  11. Building such a thing in a country where Suella Braverman is in a position of significant political power strikes me as very dodgy.
  12. Once they've checked the electrics for the railway would they be able to use Newton on Ayr as an alternative? Anything on the Maybole/Stranraer route will be out for the foreseeable by the looks of it.
  13. There are good videos on YouTube from the people who sneak into these abandoned buildings showing how utterly gubbed the interior was. The groups wanting to save it were deluding themselves given the costs (that 100% would have went over budget) and the fact that Ayr high street is a wasteland and more retail space (one of their planned uses) would have been pointless. The glow shows how widespread the fire got.
  14. We won a game and scored five goals? Good to see Rose grab a goal and Dowds get a goal in his first start . If Murphy can stay fit he and Chalmers will be very effective on the wings.
  15. I greatly respect your optimism for that bet and you got the win your optimism warranted.
  16. Wellingtons used to be good a few years back. From what I recall the guy who opened Marcos left Wellingtons to open it. Pretty sure most chippys in the town are significantly better than Blue Lagoon. The one in the high street literally stinks the place out.
