  1. Yeah I posted something similar last month. The scam was less sophisticated though i.e. dodgy email requesting payment details to be “ re- confirmed “ but they hadn’t actually hacked the app.
  2. Only logical explanation is there was an ancient burial ground below the east stand that got disturbed during the recent health and safety work . We are now suffering serious bad Juju .
  3. All great when you are ahead/ winning games and this disrupts the flow of the match. We’re not very good at winning games though so I think you notice it more on a stinking run of form.
  4. I suppose it depends on us winning the toss. But I agree with you that we should play towards the Cooper 1st half next time we play Celtic . I definitely think they get a lift playing towards that end with corners and pressure in the latter stages and I think the psychological swing would be quite high . Killie have got this stuff stitched up, horrible plastic pitch and sit the away fans in the upper tier = terrific home record.
  5. Ok fair enough if it was meant as a throwaway remark rather than a genuine belief
  6. Please provide a detailed explanation as to why you consider that you wanted Motherwell to win more than Motherwell fans in the stadium?
  7. Being honest about it they missed a couple of sitters in regulation time . That said this routine we go through of giving away goals to them in 90 plus minutes is getting very tedious to watch. Jack Vale was excellent first half an absolute nuisance to the Celtic back line. Unfortunately he was blowing out his arse after 55 mins and when he eventually went off the game got played entirely in our half .
  8. I would not at all be surprised if there is a clause in his “ 2025 “ contract that says that if we stay up this season it rolls over to 2026…………..
  9. Yes I think one of the old principles was intent in relation to hand ball . I think intent coupled with un- natural body position would be better than what we have at the moment . I’ve seen penalties this season where defenders have their back turned to play and it strikes a hand , where the ball is so close they can’t get their hands out the way and where they are sliding towards the bye line to block a cross and it strikes a hand or arm supporting their weight. This is a personal bug bear of mine but the point I’m making is that VAR is reviewing these incidents through the prism of poorly worded laws which then lead to inconsistent decisions.
  10. Just shows my memory ain’t what it was - I pictured the two of them playing up top against St Johnstone or someone at Fir Park.
  11. I don’t expect this will be a popular take but I think that a big part of the problem with VAR is that the slowing down of incidents is exposing flaws in the rules of the game . Personally I think that the laws surrounding offside and hand ball in the box are far too open to interpretation and need to be re- written and tightened up .
  12. Years ago McLeish signed two diminutive strikers from Admira Wacker in Austria called Mario Dorner and Franz Resch . The fans were quite excited to see what they could do , but the answer was f**k all. They were both absolute cack and played about three games before getting punted down south, again as a BOGOF deal.
  13. Agreed it’s really not much of a dream at all. But this is where we are this season. We have slashed the budget and managed to stay competitive in most games. I think you will finish 3rd quite comfortably. I expect St Mirren and Killie to both fall away.
  14. Sadly our sights are set a lot lower than catching Dundee this season. Keeping Ross county at arms length will do us and we can reset after that
  15. Cheers mate . If it hadn’t worked I would have stuck the router in a pothole and did the pointy picture thing
  16. Thanks very much mate for your detailed response. Yep didn’t ask for fibre upgrade I just got an email and text saying it was happening and to be home that day for an Openreach engineer . I don’t have a landline just Broadband . I did make a formal complaint and they say I’m due about £180 in compo. As of an hour ago I am back online. Got a call from Vodafone saying fault was “ fixed” and that they had reconfigured my router(?) They asked me to to a factory reset on it which worked at the third time of asking . I have no idea if Openreach did anything at their end though Vodafone maintain they did. Its all witchcraft to me to be honest
  17. My own feeling is that SK’s hand hasn’t quite been forced - yet- on the goalie situation. He will know fine well Kelly is in last chance saloon with the support ( or in the car park behind said saloon getting a kicking). I don’t believe he never checks social media. However if Kelly chucks in another howling performance on Wednesday I expect SK will simply have to make a change as it will get to the self preservation stage.
  18. As others have said Friday’s shitshow was entirely predictable and bizarrely I did not feel any anger or embarrassment either at the game or in the hours afterwards. The financial gap between ourselves and the likes of Morton Airdrie Hamilton is not so great in the grand scheme of things that we can just turn up and expect to win. That game was Morton’s cup final they were all 100 percent on their A game and Imrie had obviously watched us enough to know how to nullify our strengths. The fact we would have got Celtic next round kind of compounded my overall apathy to it all. We just need to hope that County don’t bring in some managerial saviour and we can keep them at arms length till the end of the season. I think it’s going to be a bit of a rollercoaster on that front and we are going to be biting our fingernails till the very end.
