I think he is class, and always have done tbh. Newer understood why he is often the scapegoat.

Sick to death of pundits who barely watch teams out with the old firm and pay no real attention to other clubs saying that managers have been harshly sacked etc.

We probably will be sold in the near future but the Gordon family did come out fairly quickly after Ron's death and said they wanted to carry on. Why would they come out with those comments when no one really expected it from them if they planned to sell?

Aye, surely you want to give the new manager time to come in and assess the current squad before the end of the season, or just appoint Robson permanently? We made the same mistake last season by waiting till summer to appoint Johnson which resulted in a pretty terrible summer window.

He was apparently sacked because Ross has fell out with him and given Ross didn't last much longer it does look like getting rid was silly especially given our transfer record since then. The last window Mathie was in charge for was a mess though.

Good point, we gave it to David Gray till the end of the season last year, appointed Johnson in the summer then went and had the most scattergun window ever. Both him and our CEO recently said that mistakes were made in that window and they should have had more a plan. Having a structure and plan in place 100% makes sense.

I’m refusing to get carried away to be honest, yes we’re on a decent run but a loss against Livingston and you’re looking at going on yet another losing streak.

Exactly, the small sample size of you guys who post on here do not represent the majority of old firm fans. You likely have more of an interest in the rest of us, but those who do make the types of comments I referred to are tone deaf. One of you also said it isn’t something that’s played up by the media, i regularly hear the “pundits” on sportsound spew out things like “Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs have a responsibility to put pressure on the old firm” or words along those lines.

I’m not Willy no, not sure how you’ve reached that conclusion. Pie and Bovril isn’t the the be all and end all you know? I made my comments based on my experience, some defensive Celtic fans getting on their high horse won’t change that

Again, I’m not referring to these forums, I’ve personally heard it numerous times so that’s why I said it.

The vast majority of old firm fans don’t have a clue about my team because they don’t care about us, which is fair enough, I just despise when they pretend to.

That’s for letting me know I don’t have a clue. I was referring to fans I come across daily not this thread.
