Hearts v Hibs - The Battle for 4th
GreenGray replied to Lyle Lanley's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
The real comfort blanket's coming out. Now 3rd is gone is doesn't matter whether you finish below your rivals after being a shoe in for 3rd. -

Let's not re-write history and pretend Hearts fans weren't telling everyone how good they were earlier in the season. -
Hibs v Celtic Wednesday night

I agree with every point, other than the last one. I am still not 100% convinced Johnson is the man to take us forward. Have to remember how much the game changed after their sending off. Saying that I'd be willing to give him this summer's window and a shot at next season at least. -

Egan Riley will be a huge miss, was brilliant last time against Hearts. Gutted for him could see how much he was hurting. -

Don't apologise, we agree! If you had told me going before the split that we would be going into last game at Tynecastle with 4th to play for I would have been happy to be honest! It'll be a good watch for the neutrals on Sky... -

Deserted is strong. Still decent attendances considering who we were playing. -
Think he will do well at us?

Was beginning to think we’d steered away from signing dross players…

Aberdeen vs Hibernian
GreenGray replied to betting competition's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
We have missed out on at the very least two wins as a direct result of the Ref's/VAR, when will people realise that they are just: 1. Incompetent. 2. Bias towards two, but more specifically one team -

My worry exactly. Why bother analysing the football when they can talk about refs and VAR for hours? -

Personally I’m not. When you can’t beat dross like Dundee United all season then you get what you deserve. -

Is this your opinion or wishing it into existence? -
You could go as far as saying if you are using Dermot Gallagher's opinion to get your point across you are almost definitely wrong.

That’s the way for the majority of Celtic fans, sat watching their team win trophies on the TV. Must be pretty dull, no matter how much they try to persuade you otherwise.

He was fine, I am just sick about refeere’s and VAR being the main point of discussion week in and week out. They all moaned that VAR needed to be brought in, now they all want rid of it and it’s all they speak about. This outcome was predictable for most people. -

Exactly why I was glad we got you at home first post split. You look like a different team away from home. -

Was looking forward to some post match chat and reaction. But no we have Bobby Madden on to yet again talk about ref decisions and VAR. Bet Macintyre was craving a bad decision today just so he could go over it all evening with Madden. -
Did not expect that post to lead to a thread but not complaining As I said later on in that thread I was against the introduction of VAR and I always found it criminal that the clubs did not consult their fans on the decision. Some sort of union or fan representation is needed, without us Scottish football would die, unlike the PL our clubs rely on gate money but despite this we are continually shafted.

Double Winning St Johnstone FC Thread
GreenGray replied to Kyle's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Never said I wanted it, it isn't for me. Although you can't argue with their record with the other teams they own. Also, two of our better players this season have been loan's from the group. The human rights issues and the fact you lose your identity to become part of a corporate machine is why I would be against it. -

There have been rumours of the City Group becoming involved with Hibs in some capacity, visits to the training ground etc. likely just internet chat but there might be something to them. -

Fair enough, feels like our last memorable final day was 5-5 with Rangers on a Sunday which has thrown me off. -

I thought top 6 games are typically the Sunday of the last weekend of the season?
